What was the cause of Steve Jobs' cancer? Was it because of his overtime, short temper, or vegetarian diet, or was it just unlucky?

Hello, thanks for your question, I answered this a long time ago, some of this information may be long, however it is a solid video on why pancreatic cancer occurs and how Steve Jobs might have been affected:

Most of the answers to this question are "No." However, most of the people who gave this answer only responded based on theories and assumptions. I suspect most of them were parroting what they read in medical journals sponsored by Big Pharma or working for these greedy pharmaceutical or medical companies.

Let me give you a real life answer based on my own personal experiment on my own battle with kidney cancer: renal cell carcinoma.

For the past 10 months, I have been using the simple Zhilin TCM diet protocol with CA Care TCM herbs.

  1. Japanese rice porridge Calrose 350ml 3 times a day
  2. Lamb consumption: 300 g once a day or once every 2 days. Boiled, grilled, curried, baked, fried, etc.
  3. Consumption of root vegetables: sweet potatoes, tapioca, onions, ginger, garlic and potatoes.
  4. Drink ginger, Chinese red dates, and dried longan water to replace plain water. This drink is consumed with small amounts of organic red sugar / molasses.
  5. Stop consuming all green leafy fruits and vegetables, especially apples, radishes, and black beans. In ancient traditional Chinese medicine, apples are the most poisonous fruit in the world.
  6. Stop eating / drinking all cold or room temperature foods and drinks.
  7. Eat 3 main meals a day without any snacks in between. Lunch hours are 7 a.m. M., 11 a.m. M. And 6 p.m. M.
  8. No night showers.
  9. Sleep before 10:30 p.m. M. And wake up before 7 a.m. M.
  10. Eating "hot" food to stimulate the "Qi" in my 5 vital organs and my immune system. Ginger, onion, turmeric, red dates, red wine, cinnamon are examples of such spicy food.
  11. Take CA Care prescription herbs 3 times a day before meals.
  12. Eliminate all toxic people in your life. Forgive but don't forget all your enemies. Stop reading or listening to all the toxic news about wars, religion and politics. Forget Facebook, insta, twitter, and most other social gossip networks.
  13. Go solo and have a good time.

The last CT scan showed that the large tumor has shrunk from 11x9 cm to 8x6 cm.

So, do diet and lifestyle changes cure a person of cancer? According to my real life experiment, YES!

If anyone with cancer reading this wants to give it a try, email me and I'll give you the exact details of the protocol I'm using.

Why did Steve Jobs choose homeopathic remedies over medical treatment for his cancer?

From what I understand, he didn't.

He used a variety of so-called "natural" methods, essentially a herbal and nutritional approach.

Homeopathy is not a blanket term for alternative approaches, it is a very specialized modality. Matches a remedy to the individual patient rather than the specific disease.

Homeopathy is not a blanket term for alternative approaches, it is a very specialized modality. Matches a remedy to the individual patient rather than the specific disease.

If he had given homeopathy a chance, he might have survived.

We will never know.

Perhaps he was put off by the constant barrage of anti-homeopathy propaganda emanating from the pseudoskeptic movement (partisans of / supported by Pharma), which was echoed in the highly partisan Wikipedia article.

It is my understanding that Prasanda Bannerji's homeopathic clinic, famous for the "Bannerji protocols", has had an 80% cure rate for various cancers. He had a high-level team working specifically on cancer, going beyond their basic day-to-day protocols, employing a more “classical” homeopathy. This would not be a do-it-yourself approach.

I believe that most homeopaths would recommend that the "standard treatment" have more known research behind it, and very few would confidently treat cancer with a purely homeopathic approach (although cures have been recorded).

In addition, there is legislation such as the UK Cancer Act, which prevents anyone (including doctors) from claiming that they can cure cancer.

In the US, I don't know how cooperative conventional doctors would be with diagnostic procedures; They seem to be very jealous of the income produced by conventional treatment, although conventional treatment is not a sure cure and can be very harmful. of himself. Sometimes people just choose not to go down that path; Maybe it has failed before and they don't want to face it again.

I was very hesitant before broaching this topic, but now that someone asked me, I will. To avoid any risk of bias, let me start by saying that all the details about Jobs' specific case are based on secondary sources, albeit from reliable sources in the media. I write this in a personal title, I do not pretend to know anything about the case on a personal level and I never participated in the care of Mr. Jobs. I base all my cancer figures on biomedical research sources that I know of.

I respect privacy and in no way wish to offend anyone mourning your passing. I have the deepest respect for Mr. Jobs and his legacy, but I believe that in the spirit of his progressive worldview, learning from his case is an appropriate way to look back at the facts surrounding his life and legacy.

I have done 1.5 years of research on the type of tumor that affected Steve Jobs as a medical student in Amsterdam and I have some strong opinions about his case, not only as an admirer of his work, but also as a cancer researcher who has the impression that the course of his illness has been far from optimal.

Let me cut to the chase: Mr. Jobs reportedly chose to undergo all kinds of alternative treatment options before opting for conventional medicine.

This was, of course, a freedom he had every right to take, but under the circumstances, it seems logical to assume that Jobs' choice for alternative medicine could have led to an unnecessarily premature death.

Again, please understand that I am not aware of the specific case, I am only trying to provide information about your chances of a cure a priori. These are independent of your case and mere indicators that somehow your case got worse when statistically unlikely. What caused this to happen will be left to speculation. We are here to see if your therapeutic choices are possibly what made this happen.

First, let me clarify a few things about your illness:

Neuroendocrine tumors are much less deadly than "ordinary" pancreatic cancer.

The great confusion in the media is that Jobs had pancreatic cancer. Although your tumor could have originated in your pancreas, we are not talking about the dreaded pancreatic adenocarcinoma which has such a dire prognosis and accounts for 95% of pancreatic tumors.

Jobs is quoted as having said himself that he had an islet cell tumor, which is a less exact name used colloquially for the other 5% of pancreatic tumors, the so-called neuroendocrine tumors.

Neuroendocrine tumors are relatively mild forms of cancer.

Gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (GEP-NET) are a variety of tumors that mostly maintain their original function, producing endocrine hormones.
The downside to that is the chaos they cause in the body due to all kinds of hormonal imbalances caused by the hormones they produce. On the other hand, the level of differentiation is a strong indicator of how aggressive a tumor is: the better a tumor differentiates, for example, it maintains the characteristics of its originator, it is less invasive and prone to metastasis.

Just to illustrate how mild these tumors can be:

  • Up to 10% of autopsy people in the general population have been reported to have one of these symptoms without ever having had any symptoms in their lifetime.
  • Up to 30% of the GEP-NETs detected are so well differentiated that they are strictly not cancers. I have even come across an article in which insulinomas, the most common type of PEG-NET, were benign in 90% of cases.
  • If treated properly and on time, most people will not die from the cancer itself. In my series of patients, for many subtypes, the survival rate was as high as 100% for a decade.

Neuroendocrine tumors found early can be treated simply by surgically removing the tumor.

This is a relatively low-risk treatment that, especially compared to chemotherapy and radiation, has negligible disadvantages. In many cases, a simple enucleation (simply cutting the tumor with a safe margin around it) is sufficient and leaves no residual side effects.

Now, about this specific case:

Jobs had many favorable factors indicating that early surgical treatment could have been curative.

  • Jobs himself said they caught the tumor early. Early PEG-NETs means in many cases that surgical removal of the primary tumor without further removal of organs is curative with little chance of recurrence.
  • The tumor was located in a relatively forgiving site, the pancreas.
  • The tumor was presumably an insulinoma, one of the best treatable subtypes of GEP-NET.
  • The tumor was probably well differentiated. Mr. Jobs spoke of a hormonal imbalance, this points to a tumor that maintains its endocrine function, which is a general indicator of good differentiation. Well-differentiated tumors are less likely to metastasize and grow rapidly.

Please see the table below for a complete illustration of the numbers I am referring to. I chose an article from The Annals of Oncology as the source, as it is one of the few articles freely accessible to anyone interested in reading the full article: http: // annonc.oxfordjournals.org/content/21/9/ 1794

... but not treating the most innocent cancer can make it seriously worse.

I am currently reviewing hundreds of colon cancer cases, and about 25% of them start with a patient who comes with a history of polyps. Polyps are small benign growths on the lining of the intestine. They are absolutely harmless at first, but slowly but surely over the years they lose more and more of the "differentiation" mentioned above and some eventually turn into malignant colon cancer.

In fact, all colon cancers are supposed to start out as a polyp.

This 25% had their polyps removed, but they were unlucky that, between two colonoscopies, some other polyp found the time to turn into a real cancer. This is also why detection and timeliness are so important.

This also illustrates why growing even the most innocent malignancy is silly - a time bomb.

Jobs was a hippie in the past and now a skeptic of conventional medicine. His reaction to the disease gave the disease time to spread.

Many media outlets, including CNN, stated that Jobs could have gone up to two years without proper (conventional) treatment.

While Mr. Jobs was trying all kinds of alternative verbiage, I won't even bother to move on, as his failure is now sadly irrefutably proven, his tumor grew and grew and grew ...

... and then somehow it became beyond all control.

  • Jobs waited so long before seeking normal treatment that he had to undergo a Whipple procedure and lost his entire pancreas and duodenum in 2004. This was the first alarming sign that his disease had progressed beyond a compact primary to at least a tumor as big as the pancreas. and the duodenum could not be saved.
  • Jobs apparently waited long enough until it was revealed that the disease had spread widely to his liver. The only reason you would have a transplant after GEP-NET would be that the tumor has invaded all major parts of the liver, which takes a considerable amount of time. Years, in most neuroendocrine tumors. It could be that this happened before your diagnosis, but the risk grows exponentially over time.
  • Then we saw that the tumor was slowly taking his life. It was horrible watching him lose weight and slowly turn into a skin and bone form of himself.

However, it appears that even during this recurring phase, Jobs chose to devote his time to Apple as the disease progressed, rather than opting for chemotherapy or any other conventional treatment.

As for the "why?" question:

Each patient has a different view of their disease and treatment priorities, or how much suffering and risk they are willing to endure as compensation for a greater chance of being cured.

For most people, confidence in their doctor's intention to treat them is almost complete. We encourage patients to educate themselves on the subject and encourage personal choices, but the extent to which people can navigate all the technicalities and the vast amount of medical evidence is limited not only by the level of understanding of this specialized knowledge, but also simply for the sheer time it takes to inform yourself about this.

Jobs was always a free thinker, a strong believer in spirituality, a vegetarian, and a known skeptic of conventional medicine. He chose to reject conventional medicine altogether for a time. You are not alone in that. We meet many such people and we all know someone among us who uses homeopathy or has this known fear of anything "chemical" (to which I always tell them that everything is chemical, if you think that dihydrogen oxide sounds scary, they should stop drinking water). Individual freedom of thought and choice is a cornerstone of our modern society, and the medical world is no exception.

It is always an ethical conundrum if a patient chooses an alternative treatment that we know will in fact not work. However, as long as the person is mentally sane, we cannot force them to choose a treatment that works, even if it means death. Sadly, even for one of the greatest personalities of the last 100 years, there will be no exception, and poorly treated cancer is as deadly to him as it is to anyone else ...

The definitive scientific literature on the association of dietary patterns and cancer is World Cancer Research Fund / American Institute for Cancer Research. Diet, nutrition, physical activity and cancer prevention: a global perspective.

About the study: “The Report took six years to produce and the process was transparent, objective and complete. First, relevant studies were searched in the world scientific literature. Initial searches found around half a million studies, which were soon selected to 22,000. In the end, more than 7,000 scientific studies were deemed relevant and met the report's rigorous criteria. These studies were independently reviewed, compiled, and presented to an expert panel of 21 world-renowned scientists. "

Quote from this document: "Six cohort studies, 16 case-control studies, and 8 ecological studies investigated fruits and pancreatic cancer. All six cohort studies showed a lower risk for the higher-intake groups compared to the higher-intake groups. low, statistically significant in one .... Meta-analysis was possible in three cohort studies, yielding a summary effect estimate of 0.92 (95% CI 0.81 to 1.04) per 100 g / day, without heterogeneity ".

In summary, there have been many studies on diet and pancreatic cancer, and they do not show any association between fruit consumption and pancreatic cancer. In any case, there is a trend (not statistically significant) towards a REDUCED risk of pancreatic cancer with a very high fruit consumption. Fruits are, in fact, the only food with limited data to suggest that fruit is protective.

The fruit did NOT cause Jobs's cancer.

Red meat (beef, pork, lamb, and goat) is the only food group that has (limited) evidence that it increases the risk of pancreatic cancer. “Seven cohort studies and four case-control studies investigated red meat. Almost all the studies showed an increased risk with a higher intake. "

PS: There is no reasonable evidence to support the treatment of pancreatic cancer established solely by dietary measures, for example a fruit diet.

PPS: There is stronger evidence that fruits are more protective against several other cancers, but the question was about pancreatic cancer, so I did not address other cancers

from McDougall Newsletter: November 2011 (read the full article - it's a great counterpoint to Isaacson and all of everyone's talking points about Steve and diet, etc.)

This starts with a quote from Steve talking about his job at HP after his freshman year in high school. Continue with McDougall's analysis:

"He got me the parts, but he also got me a job at the plant where they made frequency counters." (17) Here he was exposed to toxic chemicals, known to cause pancreatic cancer. Another example; Jobs soldered circuit boards in the early days of Apple. (67) This compound (solder) is typically an alloy containing lead, tin, and other metals. Lead is classified as a probable human carcinogen, a class of substances that are directly responsible for damaging DNA and promoting or assisting cancer. Lead is suspected of causing pancreatic cancer.

Steve Jobs may be the best known example of the high risk of cancer for people working in the electronics industry due to occupational exposure to carcinogens. Metals in personal computers include aluminum, antimony, arsenic, barium, beryllium, cadmium, chromium, cobalt, copper, gallium, gold, iron, lead, manganese, mercury, palladium, platinum, selenium, silver, and zinc.

Steve Jobs, who contracted cancer was an unfortunate accident, like being struck by lightning or by a car. The carcinogen (s) entered your body and due to genetics, "bad luck" or other unknown and uncontrollable factors, your body was susceptible. The cause of her cancer was not due to her vegan diet. In fact, your healthy diet likely slowed the growth of your tumor, delayed the time of diagnosis, and prolonged its lifespan.

Jobs suffered unfounded grief, believing that he had hastened his own death

Jobs lived the last 8 years of his life with regret, guilt and remorse for delaying his surgery for 9 months after the initial cancer diagnosis. With an honest phrase, his doctors could have relieved him of this heavy burden. This simple fact could have been said: “Mr. Jobs had a body full of cancer long before October 2003, when he was diagnosed with a needle biopsy. "Apparently, none of his doctors, not Jeffrey Norton, who had operated on his pancreas in 2004, and James Eason, who had performed a liver transplant in 2009, Jobs was told this indisputable truth.

Therefore, we cannot say with absolute certainty that vapor from e-cigarettes can never cause cancer, and we also cannot claim with absolute certainty that chewing gum can never cause cancer.

What we CAN say is that the current analysis gives us no reason to believe that gum or vapor from e-cigarettes causes cancer.

A man once told me about his girlfriend / secretary, who was a friend of mine and who had died of cancer, that "it was stress that killed her."

This was a comment that caught my attention because years before I had been diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer with multiple metastases and had felt that stress was definitely involved. However, all I could say at the time is that there were people in my life who were bad influences. Only after I moved from the area, to seek medical help in Sydney, did the stress go away and I had a spontaneous remission.

The mystery became a little clearer a few years after my friend's death, when I had some health problems again and I realized that there was another episode of cancer. This time I could see how stress was involved.

The stress started a few days after some people on the street asked me for some water from the garden tap in the front of my garden, whom I only knew vaguely. They acted strangely and the woman said they just wanted "some water" and showed me with her thumb and forefinger a few millimeters apart. I thought they were stupid and went home.

Within a day or two of this incident, ideas about the little water came up and that I had been misled. I had bouts of anger that came out of nowhere and I was extremely angry when these ideas came up about the little bit of water and being fooled. And I couldn't understand, even if I had been deceived, why I was so angry. It seemed completely irrational. And the angry episodes did not arise after I was thinking about it but apparently spontaneously, although accompanied by the ideas of the little bit of water and being deceived. So I was very stressed with this situation.

I had gotten sick, with what I thought at the time was the flu. I had some fever, sore throat, sweating, a bit of a headache and I was not feeling well. It went on for almost six weeks. And at that time I began to have difficulty swallowing food. I had to crush my food and swallow it with lots of liquids to swallow it. However, no matter what I did for the flu, which is what I thought I had, nothing worked and I got worse.

Then one day when I had gotten out of bed to make coffee, I saw one of the men who had been part of the group asking for some water, come to my land and trample on some tree seedlings. Suddenly I felt very angry and I put something on my shoulders (I don't remember if it was a jacket or a light blanket) and I went out to the street and I faced the guy. He tried to pretend he didn't know what he was talking about. I got really mad. However, I was able to resolve the matter to my satisfaction.

As I was walking leisurely back to my house, I noticed that I had taken the jacket / blanket off my shoulders and was wearing it. The stress is gone and the sweat and fever are gone too. Once inside I sat down to drink my coffee and was amazed to feel completely fine. How could the flu evaporate in 15-20 minutes?

I still had a slight sore throat, but this cleared up in the next 24 hours as well. The only problem I had that lasted longer was difficulty swallowing, but it resolved within the next few weeks.

Being very analytical in my approach to health at that stage and having had the benefit of my late psychopathic husband's revelations about how inhuman people deceive others around them, I began to piece together what had happened.

The two elements he was aware of were episodic anger and accompanying worry. He was puzzled why he was so angry, so he had pondered it over and over again, which of course is concern. Then my husband revealed that to piss someone off out of nowhere a cheat is used. There is always a hidden threat, which means that the person feels angry but since he does not know the subject (a threat) because it is subconscious, he does not correctly evaluate his body reactivity. That's why I only saw anger. However, since my body reactivity was high due to fear, I thought I was much angrier than I really was.

Both fear and anger increase metabolism and this is what I had interpreted as fever. He was also worried. Worry slows metabolism, and when that happens, the body moves to reduce the heat that was generated by triggering sweating. And as these ideas (ie the threat, "some water" and being duped and perplexed) came up sequentially one after another, my body was generating heat and then sweating to remove excess heat and bring the temperature back to The normality. I realized that I had had "flu-like symptoms" and not the flu. And I also realized that these flu-like symptoms were really stress.

So I began to scrutinize the mental images, especially the ideas about "cutting the front" and going through the passage down "and images of surgery on my chest. There were also ideas about cutting the entrance. All these ideas had a conscious meaning other than meaning. which was mostly subliminal but barely perceptible at times. The meaning that was clearest to me had to do with my driveway and the tap near the street. The meanings that were barely perceptible concerned my esophagus and throat. pictures from the surgery had to do with this.

It was then that I realized that the sore throat was due to inflammation. The idea of going through the doorway and cutting the doorway etc was being used to present ideas of damage to my throat, so my immune system kicked in and set up an inflammatory response to eliminate damaged cells. But as this was just a perception, albeit under stressful conditions. especially subliminal fear, but there was no need for any inflammatory response. Therefore, it was unnecessary and it was damaging and it was not good. It cleared up once I eliminated the problem.

The other images had to do with potential damage. Surgery was a possible means of treating esophageal cancer. And this was actually used to make me react like developing cancer. Hence, my body was arranged, to protect itself from possible damage, to a cellular barrier. This was also unnecessary, as it was only a perception, but under stressful conditions. I realized that this was the reason why I was having a hard time swallowing my food and had to puree everything. Since I had solved the problem, I decided to "wait and see". Indeed, as the days and weeks passed I began to swallow my food, at first with some difficulty, but finally I was able to swallow all the food. Even the toast, which was impossible before, I swallowed easily after about three weeks.

To cover this topic of stress more fully, I will discuss what I found in later episodes, in which I also had spontaneous remissions but which I had deliberately provoked.

The stress that is believed to lead to cancer involves many aspects but can be summarized in three.

  1. A hidden threat is used to create fear, but fear that is not recognizable in many cases or only in selected situations. Fear is used for many reasons. One is to generate a state of being focused on the person who makes the threats because he is also the one who is presenting ideas about the harm or possible harm. And they want the target person to focus to mentally perceive the ideas. And even more importantly, wrongly assuming that their bodily reactivity, whether realized as fear or something else, must be seen as "evidence" of the ideas and therefore lead them to accept the ideas as beliefs.
  2. The mental presentation of harmful images or potentially harmful images is intended to make the person perceive harm or the potential for harm in some part of their body. This triggers mirror neurons in the brain that create a small amount of activity in the relevant part of the body. The goal, of course, is to make the person's body react, and of course, that reaction is in their body. However, the body is very intelligent. Check to see if there is any sensory information coming back to the brain from the area in question. If not, then the activity is considered to be just the mirror neuron response.
  3. The use of emotional problems to provoke activity in a relevant area, which fools the body by creating sensory information that is returned to the brain. I don't think any of the inhuman people who play these games ever knew how the body behaves. I believe (and to some extent this was confirmed when I discussed the matter with some inhuman people) that they just tried different things and found that some situations "worked." As one inhuman person told me: “Wow, I've never thought about it so deeply! I just discovered that if you do X, then Y happens, that is, the person is disturbed in some way and a problem is created.

All of these problems create stress, but stress, as with any of them alone, does not cause a person to develop cancer in their body. The body moves to create cancer through stem cells that modify their gene expression to create, not simply a proliferation of cells, nor an uncontrolled growth of cells, but a novel organ, complete with its own multitude of cell types, a microenvironment. specialized, a membrane and a blood supply. They are all aspects of the organs of the body. The body will do this since all three of the above conditions exist and all together can be called stressful, but they are more than mere stress.

Some clinicians, who are willing to use alternative approaches, have found that even by addressing only emotional issues, the patient will experience spontaneous remission. Of course, this is because there is no longer sensory information, which the body seeks to find in order to believe that the perceptions are real. Therefore, the body reverses the changes and removes the novel organ that it created to act as a protective barrier.

To get the best and fastest result, please note that

  1. Unusual or sudden or unexplained elevated body metabolism is due to a hidden threat and that this threat is not related to any and all perceived ideas.
  2. The images perceived in the mind are mere hateful suggestions and therefore false, null and void garbage. Once the person realizes this, they can easily dismiss the ideas as pointless garbage.
  3. Solve problems that lead to emotional reactivity in the body. There is no value in trying to contain, restrict, or control emotional reactivity. That never helps. The only way is to solve the problems so that the emotion no longer has to arise.

This will mean that stress in all its aspects is eliminated and can no longer affect the body. However, even knowing the reality, cancer can be prevented from developing because it is the person's reaction that leads to the bodily reaction. The reason is that a person, who is really a conscious being and therefore a spiritual entity, identifies with the body and the activities of the Mind, that is, the ideas. Thus, as a body-mind, each and every one of the reactions carried out by the person leads to changes in the body, which are changes in function and structure. This is the very nature of stress in all its various aspects. And any understanding that the ideas are false will stop the changes in the function and return the structures to normal.
