What specific moment in your job made you realize that you really did improve at your job?

When I saw my bank statement with my first commission check deposited. I realized that something changed, this was just the beginning. I realized that this is my opportunity, that the more I put into this career, the stronger the opportunity I have to change my family's lifestyle and the more incredible opportunities for myself and my children.

I have interviewed thousands of people, almost all of whom say that "recognition" is their greatest motivation, but I am sure that money is the greatest fundamental motivator.

I have interviewed thousands of people, almost all of whom say that "recognition" is their greatest motivation, but I am sure that money is the greatest fundamental motivator.

You may have a nice-sounding title (to me personally, a title doesn't interest or impress me at all), a prestigious office, a company car, but money in the bank is solid confirmation of a job well done. It empowers you while reminding you to keep your focus if you want it to keep coming. The moment you take your eye off the ball and your ego takes over, you sink. He starts to revel in his own importance and another hardworking salesperson grabs his customer right under their nose!

To stay ahead, always check reality. Understand why you got it right and keep doing it. It will take you to the next level. Put your heart and soul into your work and you will be successful.

I always say: if you do your job properly and effectively, the money will come. My job is to help people find their dream job, the more people I help, the more I know I'm doing the right thing. It is a by-product of a job well done.

We had software to collect data, which had grown over a few years and had reached the stage where it would use up almost all memory and crash every week or two.

I had a plan to rewrite everything from scratch, and once I was able to fit in time, it took me two weeks to rewrite everything.

The new version used only three percent of memory and hasn't failed since, even though we still add it regularly.

It was a huge improvement!
