What's the best way to start over without money, a job, or a car? I need a first step.

It's okay. So I've been there. Honestly, I was a millionaire on paper and living well and then due to some wild things, I lost everything. So, here is my formula to get back up.

  1. Suck it This means knowing that the past is unalterable. You have the present and the future to work on.
  2. Get a job. I mean any job. You need to earn money. Before I got good jobs, I wasn't clear about my own worth. It took me time to mentally recover from the losses. I worked as a janitor. A painting desk helper at Home Depot. An office manager in a construction company. Of course, I have 4 university degrees and I am a member of Mensa

A painting desk helper at Home Depot. An office manager in a construction company. Mind you, I have 4 university degrees and I am a member of Mensa (it is said to show you that I could have seen myself above those jobs, but good people do that job, so based on that description, how dare I be on top? be a braggart.)
  3. Be appreciative and kind. Thank the people who help, accept the help provided, forgive people for past things (do not forget the mistakes that are serious so as not to fall prey) and ask for forgiveness when necessary.
  4. Pray.
  5. And finally, get ready to reinvent your future. Starting over generally means that the previous path is over. Now you are working on a new way to go in life and it will surprise you. In fact-
  6. tip: take 5 minutes every day to think "how can I double my income" and take notes on it. Do it for more than 3 months. Be creative. As you have ideas and you say to yourself, "I would not know where to start". Ask for. Use Quora and Google and podcasts and Youtube. You can really start over.

I did it again? Not to millions of dollars. No. Am I happy and satisfied? More now than ever. My losses ended my gains.

You'll be fine.

If you consistently take steps to invest in yourself, your ideas, your business, and build what you can, even in small steps. It will be worth it, but it MUST be consistent. And remember, there are no magic bullets or instant winners in the business world. Great rewards take great work.

Investing in yourself is learning new skills / knowledge, reading about finance (most people don't know enough about how money works), learning about yourself.

See if you can find this book in a library or somewhere if you can't afford to buy it. The ONE Thing by Gary Keller and Jay Papasan. It contains all the information you need to be the framework that can transform your life, but you must consistently put it into practice.

Good luck!
