What is the most interesting image you have seen?

This image interests me because it says a lot about the idiocy and obsolescence of war. It shows a strong and capable young American, who is no longer strong or capable, and his mother, who raised him in such a way that he was naive enough to allow a government that, according to Martin Luther King, was "the greatest provider of violence in the world ".

His mother is now heartbroken. His life and that of his family have been destroyed. Not to gallantly protect freedom and human dignity as our brave American soldiers did during World War II, but to increase the profits of a handful of billionaires and provide a temporary global hegemony for a corrupt and dishonest government, one willing to kill. 2 million people in Iraq for no reason, create 37 million refugees in the Middle East and North Africa, destroy Iraq and disrupt the education of millions of children for years, destabilize Europe, assassinate 7,000 brave American soldiers and destroy the lives of their families, and leave a debt of $ 7 billion for my children to continue paying when they are 40 (instead of having good schools,

This photo of this unfortunate soldier should be shown to every young man considering joining the United States Army. A young man should think twice and three times before joining the military under such a criminal and anti-American Commander-in-Chief as Bush Jr. or Trump. And now Biden, a strong and active co-creator of the 2003 invasion of Iraq, seems to be doing a good job for all of us, and I totally agree. But we all know that he has no choice but to serve the same corporate masters that Bush, Obama, and Trump so slavishly served.

This effort was not enough as the obviously frightened bear pounced on him. He pulled the trigger on the can with his hand and kept spraying like his life depended on it (oh yeah, it did).

The tough bear refused to back down as she descended on him, nipping at his head and arms, inflicting terrible injuries.

Then she decided to take the fetal position, covering her vital parts with her hands. This made the bear lose interest and walk away.

Todd got up quickly and ran to his car about 3 miles away. He was almost reaching his car when the same bear came for the second round.

This time, she bit his shoulder and cut off his arm, Todd kept calm and kept calm, causing the bear to lose interest and leave him alone. He then managed to get up, walk to his car, and drive himself to the hospital.

Experts later said that bear attacks are extremely rare and that the attack was likely to defend their cubs.

They also said that the double attack was probably due to them going in the same direction.

I don't know about you, but being attacked by a bear twice in one day is as unfortunate as it sounds.

I was able to see the video you posted immediately after the incident and I must say that it is really graphic. Quora will definitely crash it and probably penalize me, so if you want to see it, it's in the source below.

In 1995, astronomer Bob Williams decided to point the Hubble Space Telescope at a small, uninteresting part of the night sky.

Colleagues thought his idea was terrible: a waste of precious time with the telescope.

However, as director, Bob could use 10% of the telescope's total time for whatever he wanted, and he wanted to point Hubble at "nothing" for 100 hours.

Williams targeted the uncomplicated area highlighted below.

So between December 18 and 28, 1995, Hubble examined this empty space of sky.

Not much was expected, maybe some faint early galaxies.

So Hubble produced this ...

Hubble Deep Field (1996)

That small area was filled with more than 3,000 galaxies containing trillions of stars dating back more than 10 billion years.

After this image, the estimated number of galaxies in the universe had to be adjusted (multiplied by five) to 50 billion.

Since then, as technology developed, more and more have been found in this small dark area, no wider than 1/30 of a full moon in the night sky.

After 10 years of observations, the Hubble eXtreme Deep Field was launched in 2012.

Hubble's eXtreme Deep Field (2012)

The first galaxies in this image date back 450 million years after the Big Bang (13.7 million years ago).

For those who don't know, when we look at the sky, we are always looking back in time. For example, it takes 8 minutes and 20 seconds for light from the Sun to reach you, so you will only see it as it was then.

The deep field shows us parts of the cosmos as they were 13.2 billion years ago, long before our Sun existed.

The Hubble Deep Field represents humanity's collective eyes that adjust to the darkness around us and find it more complete than we could have imagined.

Carl Sagan would have said it better, but you get the point.

In a ritual, members of the tribe suck milk directly from one of the cow's udders. He then hits a drum, alerting the rest of the tribe that it is time to graze the animals.

Tribe members also smear peach-colored ash on their skin, created from poop fires. The consistency is like talcum powder, and it is a natural antiseptic and mosquito repellent. This offers them protection against heat.

Around 350,000 head of cattle are stolen and more than 2,000 people are killed each year by thieves. Here is a guard with his rifle. 2

I heard a story from a person I played baseball with once the shelter was frequently visited by a hermit who constantly had a horrible stench attached to it. He was there after gurgling a lot of beers and then he started wandering drunk. He ran into the hermit currently residing in the shelter bushes and the hermit, in response, hastily grabbed a stick and threw it at him and replied, “Strange hedonist, you are so intoxicated that it is humiliating for me to look at you. It's not funny, it's humiliating. You are now more impulsive and inarticulate than before, probably at least. Don't you have any sense of holiness? Are you completely empty? What hemisphere is this? I bet you need to be an accessory to answer that question. I am a hermit and I need to write you a haiku. Do you even know what hermeneutics is? However, for my friend, the joint was a demon that could not be accessed. He had the hypothesis of how to speak, pronounce and murmur in his mind before he could answer. However, after trying to visualize where he was and what was happening around him, his mind resorted to an appropriate response. “He may not be handsome, however, throwing something out was inappropriate, and that was not just heresy. “Rare photo shows the acclaimed Elvis Presley singer sitting by a counter in a segregated restaurant, in the Chattanooga, Tennessee city. While the singer awaits for his lunch, a black woman waits for her order standing, because in a segregated restaurant black people were not able to sit down.” - 1956, (History Iconography).”

Analysing her body language, I admired the composture she held while waiting for her order, as well as the fact that she didn’t make a big deal of the fact that the acclaimed Elvis Presley was sitting by her side.

That was certainly one of the most interesting pictures I’ve ever seen.

During this 41-month period, 21 men orbited the moon and 12 men walked on its surface . But the brave men of Apollo 8 were the first to leave the relative comfort of Earth orbit. The engineering and science behind the flight was sound, but it was definitely uncharted waters.

As they orbited Moon on Christmas Eve, December 24, 1968, at the end of their mission, the astronauts took turns reciting the first 10 verses from Genesis, starting with Verse 1 - “In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth, and the earth was without form, and void."

American author, speaker, science journalist and historian Andrew Chaikin: "The thing about Apollo 8 that sets it apart from every other event in the history of exploration is that because it was happening live on television, humans could share in the event as it was happening. We didn't have to wait for the letters to come back from the western frontier, weeks and months later. We didn't have to wait until the explorers returned to hear about the adventure, we could see it with our own eyes and have our own experience. And that was an experience -- watching, when the world saw those TV pictures and heard those verses in Genesis -- that was an experience for all of us to share in. That was our piece of Apollo 8. That was the moment at which we felt like explorers. We felt the awe and the wonder that these three men were experiencing so far their home planet and that was something that set Apollo 8 apart from anything that had ever happened in the history of exploration."

Perhaps the best photo of all?

After taking these photos, I wondered why that ant was carrying the dead ant. And where. It was then that I discovered that ant colonies have specialized buriers. When an ant dies, these gravediggers take the dead ants to a kind of graveyard or take them to a dedicated grave inside the nest and bury them. Although other ants can perform this task as well, ant buriers have a slightly altered developmental cycle and other ants are much more likely to take care of carcass removal.
