What is the highest paid job under the SSC?

What is the highest paid job under the SSC?

Thanks for A2A,

In fact, it depends on the department / ministry you join, as benefits vary by department and cause changes in gross salary.

For example, I can say that the AAO position has a maximum grade salary of 4800, which once calculated leads to about 60,000 per month, however, departments such as railways have gross income of more than 60,000 despite the salary of 4200 due to more benefits.

I hope that helps,

All the best for the future

Thanks

Pratham jain

Assistant in MEA and Assistant (Cypher) in MEA

This is the most sought after position at CGLE due to overseas posting and many other lucrative facilities such as children's education, accommodation, etc. and a very good salary of more than 1 lakh per month. But one can be stationed in countries like Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria too; but there is nothing to fear in this regard, as by sending one to another country to publish, you are given some options for the necessary publications and publish according to those options preferably. You also have to live in the consulate area so that you are not afraid of outsiders abroad. If you choose one of the countries mentioned, you are given 50% more salary and your stay there is counted as DOUBLE; it means that you have to serve there for a year and a half, which is counted as three years. Cyphor Asst. it's a bit different from Asst. (general) because they also have to perform the task of encoding and decoding some highly confidential language. Cypher also has night shifts and has to work for 6 days. A system of 2 days off and 2 days will be night shift, so there is no fixed Saturday or Sunday off.

An Assistant (General) is supposed to be posted generally 3 years in India and 3 years abroad and so on during their tenure in service, while an Assistant (Cypher) is assigned 3 years in India and 6 years in the foreigner and so on.

An encryption assistant receives more positions abroad than a general assistant, but the chances of promotion are better in the general assistant. In MEA the possibilities of promotion are very minor and it is possible to rise to the level of Undersecretary (USA). You can be promoted to the next position in two ways: first, directly after 15-17 years and second after approximately 8 years of service after passing the departmental exams.

Candidates who prefer a position abroad and a good salary can rank first or second on the preference list.

Deputy Enforcement Officer

The Assistant Enforcement Officer is an inspector position. If someone posted at Headquarters has to do administrative or file-related work. There are ten zonal offices of the Directorate in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow and Mumbai. The Zonal Offices are headed by the Deputy Directors.

The Directorate has eleven Sub Zonal Offices in Bhubaneswar, Calicut, Guwahati, Indore, Jaipur, Jalandhar, Madurai, Nagpur, Patna, Srinagar and Varanasi, which are headed by the Deputy Directors.

The first promotion in this job is as Execution Officer (Group-B Gazetted office), then deputy director, deputy director, and finally director. There is no fixed promotion period and it depends purely on area to area and job openings.

The position of Deputy Inspector CBI has a remuneration of 4,200 RS. but his salary is almost equal to the total salary for degree salary of Rs 4,600 as CBI executive staff are entitled to an additional 25% in BASIC PAY + DA and on top of that salary of 13 months instead of 12 months year.

This is supposed to be a very powerful and influential post due to the nature of the work. Any IT inspector / examiner or any other central government employee will vouch for the fact that CBI is a highly feared organization. Can't say about top bureaucracy like IAS etc, but for mid and low level officers, once they get under the scanner, it is very difficult to escape.

Life at CBI is stressful due to the heavy workload and deadlines there. The duration of the training is 32 weeks in Ghaziabad and includes physical training as well as training on criminal law and anti-corruption.

It is a very busy job in general, the work extends beyond the usual working hours, as one has to work until 8 or 9 pm. Usually on Saturdays, if the workload is higher, work continues as usual; although Sundays are saved. Also in some branches like Special Crime, etc., the work involves traveling a bit, especially in the early years. The nature and hours of work also differ from branch to branch and from place to place. Some branches have less workload, so staff can take it easy. No uniform is required.

Sub-inspectors in CBI or any other rank holders in CBI generally do not own a revolver / pistol. In very few cases, when a search is to be carried out in some dangerous places, weapons are handed over to the personnel. CBI officers themselves are not interested in carrying weapons.

Candidates are advised to fill this position as desired, but keep it close. Male candidates are recommended to fill this position in close proximity to the central excise inspector.

Post Inspector

Each postal division has a Post Inspector in its office. Each district has two or more divisions. This is the worst position offered by SSC with a salary of 4200. An obligation of the Postal Inspector is to sell Postal Life Insurance with a fixed objective.

This job is not suitable for female candidates. Male candidates are encouraged to place this post in the last column of the interview post when completing the SSC post preference.

Auditor

The auditor position is the best position among all non-interview positions. The auditors are hired from the CAG and CGDA departments. Office work of 08 hours and work work of 05 days. In this job one can have enough time for additional preparations like UPSC, etc. Regarding promotion, this job is offered by SSC through CGL.

One will get the first promotion to Senior Auditor (4200 grade pay) after 3 years of service. You will also have the opportunity to earn the AAO ppst (Gazette post) after passing the departmental SAS exam after 2 more years of service. All candidates are encouraged to fill this position at the top of the preference list without interviews.

Consider these two scenarios:

  1. If you have a savings account at the bank, no matter how much money you put into your account, you will earn interest at a fixed rate every month. Your money is safe and stable, it will not go anywhere. You can simply relax at home with peace of mind, as you get fixed (albeit minimal) returns on your bank deposit.
  2. You have put your money in the bazaar of stocks, equity funds, your money can double overnight or you can lose all your money in a matter of seconds. And the more you put your money in, the greater the risk.

Consider these two scenarios:

  2. You have put your money in the bazaar of stocks, equity funds, your money can double overnight or you can lose all your money in a matter of seconds. And the more you put your money in, the greater the risk.

I have given you this example so that you understand that if something gives you stability, security and peace of mind, then you cannot expect it to bring you huge monetary benefits as it has its own limits.

And, on the other hand, if something is more risky, it will have a lot to offer you in monetary terms. The higher the risk associated with something, the higher the chances of getting a reward.

Therefore, government jobs are like the bank savings account, where you will definitely get a sense of stability, security, enormous social status, a good work-life balance, but your salary will be fixed (although the salary is very good in the government sector) and you will have to use your money wisely.

Entrepreneurship (and private sector jobs to some extent) are like equity funds, they will have less stability, less security, less peace of mind, but the monetary benefits are more.

So instead of asking how much money you will earn in the next few years in the government sector, you should think about what your priorities are, what kind of life do you want to live.

3. The salary would also move up after the increase in the DA rate. The current DA rate is 9% of the base salary. DA increases twice a year. Another 3% DA is due in January 2019 (although it has yet to be announced).

4. In addition, the newly hired employee will receive the transportation allowance. The transportation allowance fee for tier 7 in the larger cities is Rs. 3600 / - + DA (currently 9%). In smaller areas, the fee is Rs. 1800 / - + DA.

Therefore, a newly appointed candidate posted in metropolitan cities will receive the following salary on the date: -

Basic payment: Rs. 44 900 / - + DA Rs. 4041 / - + HRA Rs. 10776 / - + Transportation allowance Rs 3824 / - = Total salary: Rs. 63541 / -
