What have you learned from your first 2 years of work?

As a novelty, I would like to share the learnings I had when I joined a company in addition to the technical knowledge that we have, before joining the organization.

  1. People management, that is the key skill to survive in an organization that is not taught in books.
  2. Who to approach and how to approach the phenomena to carry out our work.
  3. After 2 years, realizing that getting a job outside (off campus) is not that easy as you were offered various opportunities at campus locations.

As a novelty, I would like to share the learnings I had when I joined a company in addition to the technical knowledge that we have, before joining the organization.

  1. People management, that is the key skill to survive in an organization that is not taught in books.
  2. Who to approach and how to approach the phenomena to carry out our work.
  3. After 2 years, realizing that getting a job outside (off campus) is not that easy as you were offered various opportunities at campus locations.
  4. Networking: the contact of people who is useful while serving in the organization and when they leave the organization. Even when you join a new organization, keeping in constant contact allows us to stay competitive in our workplace by staying up-to-date.
  5. Know when to escalate if a job doesn't get done.

In my first 2 years I have worked with the product based company. So I learned everything I could. People management skills. Also patience while working and trying to learn different products to increase the value in a team.
