What are the best WhatsApp groups to get a job abroad?

What are the best WhatsApp groups to get a job abroad?

First of all, you shouldn't trust random whatsapp groups. They can be scammers! If you want jobs abroad, there are many websites and consultants available on the Internet. They make their job easier by verifying the company credentials and then allowing them to post on the website. It is not difficult to find work abroad. Just check the correct sources. Good luck for your jobs

To my knowledge, WhatsApp groups can only be formed with phone numbers and it may not be possible to search for such groups.

What you can do is visit consultancies that hire people for another country and you can ask about the process.

Many people are curious to know how WhatsApp makes money, while not charging its users a dollar. Previously, they set a price of $ 1 or free for the first year, but with a fee of $ 1 for renewal from the second year onwards.

In 2014, Facebook agreed to pay $ 19.6 billion to acquire WhatsApp, which became one of the largest technology purchases of all time (1). The question here is why did Facebook spend so much money ($ 19.6B) to buy WhatsApp, which is just a text messaging app and doesn't allow in-app ads and doesn't allow sharing / selling user data to an advertising partner.

In 2014, Facebook agreed to pay $ 19.6 billion to acquire WhatsApp, which became one of the largest technology purchases of all time (1). The question here is why did Facebook spend so much money ($ 19.6B) to buy WhatsApp, which is just a text messaging app and doesn't allow in-app ads and doesn't allow sharing / selling of user data to advertising companies, either. What are the main source of income for most social media platforms?

Does WhatsApp really make any money for Facebook?

Let me first explain whether Facebook is really making money from WhatsApp or not. See a bar chart below showing Facebook's annual increase in revenue since 2010.

Fig. 1. Annual increase in Facebook revenue from 2010 to 2019

Facebook Inc. owns Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Facebook Messenger, which are the most popular products of Facebook Inc. Facebook acquired Instagram in April 2012 and WhatsApp was acquired by Facebook Inc. in October 2014. In the bar chart above, we can clearly see the significant increase in Facebook revenue in 2013 ($ 2.783 million), 2014 ($ 4.594 million) and 2015 ($ 5.462 million) after the acquisition of Instagram in 2012, but a huge jump in revenue was observed of Facebook from 2016 onwards (from $ 9,710 to $ 14,859 million) (2). It means that the first jump in Facebook Inc's revenue from 2012 to 2015 could be due to Instagram, but after that from 2015-16 onwards, WhatsApp could have contributed a lot to Facebook Inc.'s revenue growth.

How do various social media platforms make money?

There are many different ways to earn money through different social media platforms, but the following two methods are well known.

They share / sell user data to marketing companies, but WhatsApp adopted an end-to-end encryption policy, which prevents anyone, including WhatsApp, except the sender and receiver, from accessing the data shared in the application (3 ).

They show ads on their social media platforms and make money from advertising companies, we all know that WhatsApp shows in-app ads.

It means that WhatsApp does not sell / share user data with the shared marketing companies in the application or show any advertisements in the application. So why did Facebook Inc. pay $ 19.6 billion if it doesn't make money? I think there are two main reasons behind the acquisition of WhatsApp by Facebook Inc. One is the possibility of a future threat from WhatsApp and the other is a novel idea of generating wealth through WhatsApp.

Yes, there is a possibility that Facebook acquired WhatsApp just to rule out any future threats from WhatsApp. We must not forget that before 2010, Orkut, owned by Google, was so popular and had more than 300 million users worldwide. At the time, Facebook was only growing its user base, but Orkut didn't care about Facebook's growth. Orkut was doing very well and Orkut couldn't anticipate the future threat from Facebook. We all know that in 2014 Google announced the closure of Orkut. Perhaps the sad story of Orkut was the main reason behind Facebook's acquisition of WhatsApp.

It should not be true that WhatsApp does not generate money, otherwise it would be very difficult for WhatsApp itself to run a social media platform with more than 1.5 billion users worldwide. Well, I'll explain WhatsApp's likely model for making money (it may be wrong) later in this blog, but before that we need to understand how the advertising industry works and how it pays for ads.

How do companies pay for advertising their products?

Suppose you see a more popular celebrity (player / actress / actor) on your television, advertising a motorcycle from a particular company. The company pays the celebrity for two things, a small chunk of money is for giving their precious (celebrity) time to the company to shoot the ad and a large chunk of money to increase viewership due to popularity. The ad filming could have been done by any other normal person, but a normal person cannot increase the audience (the audience is directly related to the sale of products, without increasing the audience, the companies would not pay much money), that's why companies want the hottest celebrities. to advertise your products.

Today, digital media platforms such as YouTube provide an opportunity for ordinary people to earn a good amount of money through their videos, uploaded to YouTube (fees are around $ 2-10 per thousand visits) 4. If someone uploads a video on YouTube and allows the ads of companies indexed in Google, the companies pay money based on the number of views of that video. It means that through your video you are increasing the audience of the ads, that is why youtubers get money just by increasing the audience of the ads as they get the celebrities. Simply put, companies pay money to an advertising medium (it can be a celebrity, a normal person, a video or any other platform) that can increase the audience of their products in any way.

WhatsApp user statistics

WhatsApp has over 1.5 billion users and over 1 billion daily active users, sharing ~ 65 billion WhatsApp messages and ~ 200 million videos per day1.

WhatsApp's model for making money through ads

Let's imagine a hypothetical situation in which nobody in the world uses WhatsApp on their mobile phone, but rather Facebook, Instagram, twitter, google, etc. Let's say that one day someone finds an interesting video on YouTube, which includes some ads from different companies, indexed in Google. You want to share this video with your friends via Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc., but all of these social media platforms usually show very recent activities on top of their users, so there is a good chance that many of Your friends may miss that video due to inactivity at the time you shared it. Another major problem on these platforms is that many people (many are not your close friends) share many things,

Now think that 1.5 billion (1 billion daily active users) people use WhatsApp on their devices. If you share that YouTube video on WhatsApp with your friends, then your friends will receive it as a personal message from you and there is a great chance that your friends will open that link and watch that video for at least a minute or less, whether they like it. or not (you will not only see the actual video, but also an ad linked to YouTube videos which usually comes before the actual video starts). It means that if you share a video on social media platforms,

As I mentioned earlier, a celebrity or youtuber makes a significant amount of money mainly to increase the audience of ads and WhatsApp is also doing the same job to increase the audience of ads in its own way without sharing / selling the user data (the main one of WhatsApp USP) or without showing advertising (the main USP of WhatsApp) to its users in the application, so I think that WhatsApp should get a lot of money from advertising companies to increase the audience of their products.

I am part of two whatsapp groups that I think are the best as the members are sincere and knowledgeable.

One is a music group called musicophile's

1- Here members share their favorite songs, music videos, discuss music and play fun music related games.

2- This group is active and has more than 90 members.

3- The members also share their own singing talents. Sometimes they play games like antakshri.

4- They are all kind, sincere and supportive. If someone wants to learn a musical instrument, other members will help them.

Both groups are the best for having fun and learning something new. But in the end it depends on the person which group likes to join🙂

I do not know the WhatsApp groups, but the best platform to find a job is LinkedIn.

Take your time and create your account by filling in all the details of the information you can enter. Just search for the jobs you are looking for and filter the area you are interested in doing the job.

I bet you will find the best results there and you can also be in direct contact with the right person in the company. You can add them to your list and also have a personal chat in the message.

I believe that a direct link like this cannot be shared by anyone, there are also companies that are posting for available vacancies where you can fill out the form or

I believe that a direct link like this cannot be shared by anyone, there are also companies that are posting available vacancies where you can fill out the form or contact them with a company email with your resume directly.

I think it is a better option than joining a WhatsApp group or consultancies, after all, they are also obtaining information from those sources.

Therefore, it is good to be active on Linked and keep looking for connections related to your field. If your profile is awesome, they will definitely add you. So, I gave more importance to fill in all the details that you can directly in your profile. Describe the skills you gained, not just mention them in one word.

I hope you understand what I mean.

Yes, there are many whtsapp group forums, Facebook groups, study circles online. But believe me my friend, it is absolutely useless in most cases, I will explain how.

Now once you post it, trust me, you will be curious what your group members reviews will be like, some of you get shot down by something, you might feel bad about it too, but the most damaging part is that you will be stuck to your device for a long time in a day and by Eva you will be stuck with that one answer of yours.

So I personally suggest that you do not go to WhatsApp groups, since they are the ones that benefit you the least.

If you have a study circle of 2/3 at most 4 serious candidates to discuss topics, you would be more productive.

I hope this is enough….

HR groups on Facebook, Linkedin. You can choose your basic interests such as the recruiter pool / compensation and benefits manager pool.

You can also receive email updates from SHRM, NHRD, etc.

I'm not sure where to find those public groups, but if you don't mind me asking, why would you want to join a random public group instead of creating one and adding members?

Anyway, just google the public groups and you will find them.
