  5. Extracurricular activities: I worked in Hinjewadi phase 3 on the Pune campus which has one of the best infrastructure facilities along with volleyball court, basketball court, table tennis, badminton, gym (with good instructors), yoga room and dance, etc. Has frequent events held. How was TCS?

I think I can answer this as I am working at TCS for the last 1.3 years.

Here we are….

Tcs was the best company for newbies, conducting only two rounds of Fitness and Interview. If you are thinking of pushing yourself, TCS is yours.

At the beginning, you will have training for 1 to 2 months in different training centers (Ahmadabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Trivandrum, Guwahati… etc).

After joining the assigned training center, they will take two tests. According to the results, you will be assigned to certain technologies, this is what they say when they assign you to an unknown domain.

The truth is that they will give the domains at random, but each domain is good in its own way. So don't be upset if you don't get the domain you want. Just work hard on the technology you get.

If you do not perform well in training, they will extend the training to another 10 days, it is called the LAP program. After finishing the training, you will be assigned to different cities once again, don't be upset if you don't get the city you mentioned as option 1, 2, 3.

Once you arrive at the assigned location, you must inform RMG until you get the project. hectic.

There are so many chances that you will get a job or not. It completely depends on the project you get.

If you want to pursue higher education, it will be good for you to join TCS. Because TCS will have LWP (Leave Without Pay) after working at TCS for two years. Even if you don't get the job after college, you can go back to TCS. Job security.

There is also another option that TCS will fund for your higher education if you are ready to join TCS after completing higher studies.

Another thing is the salary, you will get a good package as a new market compared to the foreign market. If you plan to continue at TCS for a long time, salary will be your main problem. As this is normal in any service company, salary growth will be lower.

Everyone talks about the reasons for joining TCS. I will tell you about some reasons why TCS is not the right place for people who need to grow in their career.

India is not a perfect place where state and commerce are perfectly separated, as in the UK or the US This is how it was able to tap into the huge capital needed to pay the salaries of so many employees and bid for large international contracts without break. They tender contracts with the entire Indian continent, including the state, which supports them. All India IT experts (> 99%) aspire to work for them. They have the resources of over a billion people to choose from. So they not only have a large proportion of the world's IT experts, they have them at Indian pay rates. This is how they can undermine any bidding in the world. Interestingly, they don't work that well. This is because the average performance of your employees is low. Its experts are world-class, but not all of its employees are, of course, experts.

However, with that said, TCS is aware of its various shortcomings and is actively working to improve its performance. As India matures, commercially, so will TATA and TCS. It will take decades, but with the support of the Indian state for TATA and all its sub-companies, it will weather any commercial storm. I am surprised that China is not doing the same. Perhaps the world will soon see a Chinese state-sponsored consulting firm emerge to compete with TCS and others.
