My father suffered from heart problems in the meantime, so I decided to stay behind. I was in a marketing job at the Pidilite Industries posted in Jodhpur. I had to drive a motorcycle all day and I didn't like to ride that much. I didn't like that job, so I left the place and started teaching at a school in a remote area of ​​Barmer (Rajasthan district on the border with Pakistan).

I taught there for 3 years, then cirrhosis of the liver hit me and I was on bed rest for a year and a half.

After recovery, he had no work available, just nothing for a few months. I applied for several jobs, luckily I got one in a CSR company.

There I also had a function mainly related to teaching.

Meanwhile, I started preparing for UPSC. Near my PG, several construction workers live in temporary houses.

The children in these temporary homes are so excited about their events that it saddens me to see their condition. But their smile shines so bright that I think my worries are nothing in front of them. I teach them for an hour or two. Some of my friends are working in Silicon Valley in the US and they enjoy the luxuries in life.

One of my students will pass out from IIT Kharagpur civil engg in 2021. And three from different AIIMS Rishikesh, JIPMER medical colleges in 2022 (from my teaching period at Barmer).

But I am happier than in the past. Time has been so hard that I feel so happy to have passed it with such grace.

I will definitely make these children's lives happier and more fulfilling as a teacher and as a human being.

I may not be as successful as my friends, but I am definitely pleased with myself.
