How is it possible that after Friends season 1 (S2E1 onwards), suddenly Joey becomes stupid, Phoebe becomes less weird, Rachel is less spoiled, Ross becomes less fidgety and nervous, and Chandlers lines don't are they all sarcastic after only 1 year?

I think it's because it made the most sense. Season 1 is all about finding out. Personally, I feel like they balanced all the characters together, they matched. Phoebe was too weird. In fact, it bothered me sometimes. Joey being somewhat stupid made all the fun work better. If Rachel got too spoiled, the character would not evolve and she would not be able to live with everyone else. Ross finally got better, since we met him when his life was falling apart. It just makes sense. And Chandler is just amazing. However, a lot of people don't like sarcasm too much ... which doesn't make sense since sarcasm is a life skill. I feel like Chandler dropped the number a bit.

So, I think they evolved individually and also as a group. Looking from the writers perspective, all the changes made sense. Now (after S1), they actually look like a group of friends. They have things in common. It makes sense. Weird Phoebe and overly spoiled Rachel wouldn't work so well. They just softened some of the character traits to make them fit better. And it worked.

1: Chandler's family is fabulously wealthy. In one episode he said that his mother had sold more than 100 million books; well, that kind of sales puts her in Dan Brown territory, as the author, which means it's going to be worth around $ 90 million.

2: Rachel's parents are obviously rich, but they're not in the same league as Chandler's. His father is a cardiac surgeon, and with his age and condition (he's obviously very wealthy and respected), I think he probably owns his own private cardiology practice. Which means your income is probably around $ 2 million a year. If you remember, he just canceled Jill's cr.

His father is a cardiac surgeon, and with his age and condition (he's obviously very wealthy and respected), I think he probably owns his own private cardiology practice. Which means your income is probably around $ 2 million a year. If you remember, he only canceled Jill's credit card when she used it to buy a boat! So it seems that he offers all his adult children an allowance of about $ 10,000 a month ……………

3: Monica and Ross's parents are obviously pretty rich too. With Monica and Ross growing up with Rachel, you must assume the Gellars lived in the same neighborhood as the wealthy Green's, if not on the same street. Then keep in mind that your dad drives a Porsche 911 (a $ 100k car) and they also have a beach house, you have to assume that Jack Gellar has a very high income. However, it is obvious that the Gellars are financially pressured by all these luxuries; If you remember, they can't afford to pay for Monica's wedding because they used the money at the Beach House.

Another example of why Monica / Ross's parents are not in the same league as the Greens when it comes to wealth is what happened when Rachel lied to her father about marrying Ross. He immediately used his contacts to book the Plaza Hotel on very short notice. Now, the Plaza is probably the most expensive wedding venue in New York; Just an evening reception will cost you about $ 75,000. So Rachel's father's ability to spend $ 100,000 on a wedding, on very short notice, without any fuss, shows that he is in a completely different league than Jack Gellar, who couldn't even afford a modest wedding. So I would put Jack / Judy Gellar's income at around $ 300,000 a year.

4: Phoebe's parents, ironically, also have above-average incomes. Of course, she never lived with them growing up, but both are successful. His father is a pharmacist, so he will earn around $ 150,000 a year. He also has a nice house in the suburbs of New York. His mother is a real estate agent, probably with about $ 50,000. So I'd put Phoebe's parents' income at around $ 200k

5: And no, I doubt Joey's family is poor either. With a wife and 8 children, living in the city, his father would need a large income to pay for everything. I suspect that your father probably makes about $ 100,000 a year through his business.

So to sum it all up, they all have above average income! It's a show about privileged people. Not normal people

First, let's see what Ross's personality was like and then we came to the conclusion.

Ross as a character:
1) When Friends begins, Ross is introduced as a person who has just found out that the wife he has been for the last 8 years is a lesbian and that for the last few months he is having an affair with another lesbian named Susan. They showed this as a comedy, but imagine 8 years of relationship, wasted efforts. It tells us that Ross was a determined person. He was sad but accepted what happened to him.

2) When Ross accidentally broke a girl's leg, he sold Brown Bird cookies all day between girls to earn her a trip to Space Camp. His disinterest could not be better revealed than this incident.

3) Ross told us about Unagi (a state of total awareness) in a very funny and funny way.

4) Ross was a well established paleontologist who specialized in his current. He was an intelligent character who always had a scientific and rational vision. He made his passion his profession.

Ross as father:
5) Carol informed him that she was pregnant and that she and Susan are raising the child, so that he can get involved with them if he feels comfortable. Imagine that you are going to be a father, but you will be at the mercy of the acceptance of your wife and a third person who literally has no role in the origin of that unborn child. (I can never understand why parents always show themselves as optional parents in a child's development.) He decided to play the best he could at the birth of his first child.

6) She visited Carol every day to make sure she and her son were okay. She gave him the same time singing to her unborn child, taking care of him, she stayed until the last time with Christmas carols until Ben gave birth. He spent his weekends babysitting Ben, even asking Carol if he could spend more time with him. He turned out to be the best father.

7) Ross assured Rachel that whenever she or Emma needs it, she will be there for her. He sings songs for her, took care of her all the time. He was present in every way with Emma despite his differences with Rachel.

Ross as a friend:
8) Ross shared a good friendship with Chandler from his college days. When Chandler was going to cheat on a woman disguised as Bob, advising him not to do it because he's not okay, it eventually ended up as an embarrassment to Chandler.
9)
a) Ross did not share an owner-pet relationship with Marcel, but was more of a friend to him. When Marcel accidentally swallowed the letter, he rushed him to the hospital. He carefully chose the zoo in which he could give Marcel for his best life and also went to personally leave him.

b) Later she visited him in California, planned a special evening to spend with Marcel. He regarded Marcel as a friend rather than a pet.

10)

a) He kissed Joey for his practice on the show when everyone refused.
b) He got it as a tour guide in the museum. When he realized how stupid it is not to sit with the junior staff, he took the initiative to sit with the guide and respected their friendship. c) Encouraged Joey to write his own scripts.
d) Ceramic Dog brought him when he was fired from his show and had to sell his things and his house to pay his bills.

eleven)

a) Ross brought Phoebe her first bicycle since childhood and also made her learn to ride it.
b) She acted like a hypothetical date after learning that Phoebe has never been in a real long-term relationship just to make her happy.

12) Friends didn't call Ross for a ski trip together, but they immediately remember Ross when they got stuck. Ross might have neglected them, but he went to help them.
13) Ross designed Quiz for all friends perfectly even without asking them. Not only is his intelligence shown better, but also his friendship, how deeply he knew you all.

Ross as brother:
14) Ross loved his sister since childhood. He acted as a bridge between his parents and Monica. Although they favored Ross from childhood, Ross always encouraged Monica.
15) I was in favor of Monica and Richard's relationship. He never acted like a bossy brother.
16) He recommended that Monica abandon the idea of begging a child through artificial insemination, as it was not a correct step, since she had her whole life ahead of her.
17) When he found out about her and Chandler, he was glad to learn that they were both having a serious relationship. First of all, he got angry thinking that Chandler was pressuring Monica, which tells us how deeply he cared for Monica.
18) Ross scolded his dad when he ruined Monica's belongings in the water flow and told her how important all those memories were to her.
19) When Chandler got scared just before they got married, Ross got so worried and went out looking for him, he also threatened to never hurt his little sister (it was the sweetest thing about Ross).

Ross as Ex:
20) He kept her Christmas carol problems aside and supported her in marrying her lover Susan. He walked down the hall for her.

I think the above points are very clear to understand what Ross's personality and character was like.
Now, coming to the main question about his relationship with Rachel

21) Rachel was Ross's childhood crush. She decided to go with Rachel to her prom when Chip dumped her. I couldn't see Rachel crying.
22) Ross planned the whole birthday surprise for Rachel and spent a special day with her.
23) She went with Rachel to do her first wash, she fought for her turn with a lady.
24) He gave Rachel the same ring that she wanted but couldn't buy because she couldn't afford it at the time.

25) She made sure her parents didn't bump into each other so as not to sadden Rachel because they didn't get along.
26) He went with Rachel to Mindy and Barry's wedding to give her moral support and defend her when Barry tries to humiliate her.
27) Rachel did all the drama from last time not getting ready even though she had a whole day to get ready. Ross, tense, angrily asked her to get ready. She changed and began to play her childish tricks. Although Ross had every right to be offended, he put aside his self-respect and begged her to accompany him as he couldn't imagine his special evening without her, he was even going to drink a fatty liquid for her.
28) Ross was having a hard time getting along with Rachel's father, even after being insulted by him, only to see Rachel happy, he kept his problems aside and ends dinner with his father.
29) She was wearing the naval officer's uniform for rent just to satisfy Rachel's sexual fantasy.

30) Fix Rachel's resumes with her and send them to other companies to help her get a job.
31) He was with Rachel on her first day at Bloomingdale to support and congratulate her.
32) In fact, she chose her dresses for her first day at Blooming Dale.

33) He went with her to attend a fashion conference with her even though she was not interested in fashion.

34) Ross literally put everything up for Rachel and their relationship and, conversely, Rachel didn't put in much effort (I agree she waited on their first date and they ended up at Ross's workplace together).

Now, reaching the tipping point in Ross and Rachel's relationship,

35) In fact, I think after watching those episodes several times that we were on a break was a mistake made by both of them, however, I think that scnerio was the result of a lack of communication between them, see my answer below.

Babita · Updated Aug 3 Would any woman side with Ross on the set that we were in a break-up deal on Friends? This issue is not about man versus woman. we have to look at both sides and what the circumstances really were that led to it. For this we have to go back a bit. The day Rachel got her job, he was jealous for Mark, but he still congratulated her and went to support her at her first… (more)

Now coming into their relationship after their breakup,

37) Ross surely gets sad and jealous seeing Mark with Rachel, but he let his jealousy go and decided to move on.

38) Ross makes up with Bonnie. I was starting to move on. But Rachel intrudes and asks him to shave Bonnie's head so Ross can break up with her. Then after she successfully screwed them up, she made an 18-page list of conditions to dump everything on Ross, while she herself was 50% to blame for her previous breakup. Ross agreed in the first place because he wasn't reading, but when Rachel threw everything at him, he left his room. Why doesn't Rachel clarify her terms before ruining Ross's happiness?

39) Although Ross wasn't happy to go with Emily in the first place, he did it so Rachel could date Joshua and seduce him. Once again, he happily let Rachel's happiness wash over him. After a few days, Ross and Emily got closer and decided to get married. Hearing this, Rachel became so jealous that she called Joshua and proposed to him just to get revenge on Ross. He just couldn't see how happy Ross was. She traveled all the way to London to tell Ross 5 minutes before her wedding that she loves him (what was she doing all the time before)? She ruined Emily and Ross' happiest day by showing up at the last minute and made him change his mind despite being told by Phoebe and the passenger how stupid this idea was. (Ross is also wrong, He still hadn't gotten over Rachel and couldn't make his mind strong enough to be with Emily). Even Monica and 2 nurses told her it was a stupid idea now to tell Ross that she loves him, she didn't listen to them and she told Ross. And guess what happened again, when Ross finally got divorced, now again she doesn't want him because she only wants him when he was with someone else happily moving forward. She also got jealous when Emily, after a few months, dropped Ross's message to get back together and deleted it, albeit accidentally, but still didn't tell Ross about it. now again she doesn't want him because she only wants him when he was with someone else happily moving forward. She also got jealous when Emily, after a few months, dropped Ross's message to get back together and deleted it, albeit accidentally, but still didn't tell Ross about it. now again she doesn't want him because she only wants him when he was with someone else happily moving forward. She also got jealous when Emily, after a few months, dropped Ross's message to get back together and deleted it, albeit accidentally, but still didn't tell Ross about it.

40) He gave up his only chance to be on TV so he could take Rachel to the hospital.

41) The only positive thing Rachel did afterwards was help Ross get her pizza delivery number (the only thing Rachel's fans brag about).

42) Rachel later confessed, after her accidental marriage in Las Vegas, that the marriage was her idea and again left him hanging in the middle this time with a third divorce. Every now and then Rachel confirmed that she just wants Ross to be a backup for sex and used it for the rest of the series. No relationship, just sex.

43) Actually, it was Rachel who convinced Ross to have sex by telling him the story of "Backpacking in Western Europe leading to sex." Ross, who was actually filming video for his speech, the entire scene was recorded. later they came to fight to find out who really started. Ross tried to cancel everything to save her from humiliation, but she was so interested in insulting Ross in front of all her friends that she felt insulted (one of my favorite scenes).

44) Rachel got totally pregnant because of her whims and then she revealed it to everyone. Ross when he heard about attempts to secure a dying Dutch woman's apartment for Rachel.
Rachel herself was ruthless in telling her father that she was not getting married, but she threw everything on Ross for not supporting her. That stupid father then went to Ross and destroyed the healthy relationship between him and Mona. (If I were Ross, I would have slapped Rachel for doing this.)

45) When Ross heard about Joey and Rachel, he must have been sad and distraught, but considering Joey as his friend, he let it slide and was fine. In fact, he himself convinces Joey to tell Rachel his feelings and later gave her his blessings even though Rachel would also take Emma with her (I bet no man in this world can do this).

46) Actually, it was Rachel who convinced Ross to have sex and she ended up pregnant, but she had to hear her mother tease her about being uncontrollable (how can one be so selfish?).
47) Rachel placed restrictions on Ross not to go out until after she gave birth.
48) Rachel didn't bother to tell Ross when she would take Emma with her even though he was her father. I could never understand how he put a stone in her heart and told her himself to go and join his dream job in Paris. He was the father of two children, but eventually he was left without them.

It amuses me to repeat again that Ross got jealous and sad about Rachel's other relationships, but never did anything toxic to become an obstacle in her life, while Rachel completely destroyed each and every one of Ross's relationships with her friends. clever tantrums and left him just hanging in the middle.

I hope you can now decide who was more selfish, selfish and selfish and who really cared, selfless, loving, compassionate and who was insulting whom.

I hope this helps!

Phoebe and Rachel weren't the characters I was really skeptical about. To be fair, massage therapists in New York can make quite a bit of money if they know a lot of connections and are good at their job. Although Phoebe was a bit quirky in personality, her physical gifts as a masseur might have been underrated within the show's premise. You could easily have paid your rent, especially knowing you didn't go to school or you had an outstanding debt that was mentioned in the show. As for Rachel, she actually became quite successful as the show progressed. She started the

You could easily have paid your rent, especially knowing you didn't go to school or you had an outstanding debt that was mentioned in the show. As for Rachel, she actually became quite successful as the show progressed. She started her rise into the fashion industry fairly quickly once she worked at Bloomingdale's and at the end of the show she was offered a prominent position in Paris. Also, Rachel's family was always well off, so I didn't

The real problem here is Joey. I honestly don't know how in the world a struggling, below-average actor could come close to surviving in a two-bedroom room in the West Village. Judging by the size of his apartment, Joey's rent should have EASILY been over $ 1,800 a month (relative to today's economy). I doubt that Joey's infrequent performances could have covered his portion. Also, the show curiously mentions that Chandler would cover portions of Joey's rent on the basis of a promissory note, but even this form of free charge would have reached a boiling point with Chandler.

All in all, Friends is a terrible representation of real life in New York City, especially living in an area as diverse as Greenwich Village and its proximity to the LES and the East Village. In fact, I think How I Met Your Mother did a better representation of New York City based on where they lived (Upper West Side). Also, yeah, I know too much about Friends. It really is sad.

Chandler has been shown to work for a large company, has his own office, is always dressed in a suit at work and has also been assigned an office secretary. That job has to pay well.

We know that Chandler has never owned a car and probably takes the subway to work. We also know that he has supported Joey on numerous occasions when the latter did not have an acting assignment. Think of the time when you were looking to gift Joey $ 1500 so that leaving the apartment to go live with Monica doesn't become a huge burden on Joey. Later, on one occasion (S08E21) when Joey is mad at him.

Think of the time when you were looking to gift Joey $ 1500 so that leaving the apartment to go live with Monica doesn't become a huge burden on Joey. Later, on one occasion (S08E21), when Joey is angry with him because he fell asleep at the premiere of the first movie and, out of spite, wants to pay him back for everything he has done, Chandler counts two shots at the $ 1000's worth of head plus "acting classes, stage combat classes." , tap classes ”followed by“ two and three years of rent, food, utilities ”. Remember they live in Manhattan where nothing is supposed to be cheap. Initially, Joey seems fine when he enters $ 1000 into the calculator and then something, but we see that he is surprised and embarrassed when looking at the final count, so it must have been around $ 20,000 or so. Chandler doesn't get a check at the end as they reconcile and that doesn't bother him in the least.

Right before the plot in which he writes what he has saved in the last six years (even though Joey owes him so much) we see him go shopping with Phoebe (S06E23) where he ends up paying a damn $ 8000 for an engagement ring .

Taking all this into account and extrapolating the data, we can safely say that he wrote something close to six figures on that sheet of paper. He stops himself from revealing it when he sees Rachel worried and only then does he start scribbling it. Therefore, you should know that none of the others could have so much to flaunt their wealth in front of them that it could make you look bad.

Then there's Monica's reaction:

TL; DR; I think Chandler made at least $ 75,000 on that role. Possibly even more.

Health!

It is not right or wrong, it is a question of what she needs.

Now, I think Emily was a bit excessive when she divorced Ross for saying the wrong name. Yes, that was a terribly embarrassing moment, and you have every right to be upset about it, but it was a momentary mistake. If she wanted to marry Ross, she should have been willing to get over that (and Ross did his best to do it). And if she was really so angry that she didn't want to marry him, she should have stopped the ceremony at that point, rather than moving on. (Apparently the original plan was for them to be married for a while before divorcing, but the actress's pregnancy pushed them forward in the timeline.)

The thing is, for all that, his worries are justified, because Ross is still obviously in love with Rachel. This is something that outshines the entire series from start to finish. And being married to a guy who is still in love with his ex, constantly seeing her, spending time with her, sharing jokes, phone calls, and secret moments with her, is just not a fair expectation. It is completely reasonable that she is not willing to try to live that way.

And it can also be understood from Ross's perspective. He's not having an affair with Rachel, she's an old friend, she's your sister's roommate, you're part of a tight-knit group that you would have to completely abandon to never see her again. It's completely understandable that you don't want to do that.

And those two realities have clashed and cannot be resolved. If Ross is unwilling to give up his group of friends in the interest of his marriage, his marriage cannot work. Now, personally, I take marriage seriously enough to feel like I should at least have tried, but one can understand why I wouldn't. And she's not being irrational in wanting him to keep his distance from her. And that means their relationship just can't work. Neither of them believes that they can be happy with what the other person needs, so they cannot be together. That happens, and it's really no one's fault.

Really, the big problem is that this reality should have been dealt with before getting married. That's the problem with this kind of spontaneous real-world romance. When you really have to adjust to real life, can you still be together? This is an irreconcilable difference, one of them would have to give in, and neither will nor can. So they just shouldn't have gotten married.

Aside from the fact that she was undeniably attractive like the rest of the cast, what made Rachel stand out is Jennifer Aniston's unique touch in transitioning the character. Aside from the fact that she was undeniably attractive like the rest of the cast, what made Rachel stand out is Jennifer Aniston's unique touch in transitioning the character. She made Rachel Greene super relatable to all of us. It's like Rachel is almost real: an uptown girl who's a bitch in high school, she later learns that life isn't just a Disney movie with rose-colored sequences.

  • Young girls could relate to Rachel, who was very sensitive, spoiled, often mean, but not so bad after all.
  • He had exponential growth in character throughout the series (the same applies to Chandler). In seasons 1, 2, and 3, Rachel is often portrayed as this sublime, confused wimp who can't handle her own decisions and consequences.
  • But later in life, she turns out to be extremely confident and bold enough to step out of her comfort zone.

Remember how you started out as a terrible waitress and then worked at Ralph Lauren and ended up "sleeping with him" too? Duhh?

  • The other reason we all love her is because of the amount of strength and effort she put in when life overwhelmed her with the hardest decisions to make.

She got drunk and married Ross in Las Vegas, later got pregnant in S8 and just when you thought this was the worst that could happen, she loses her job at Ralph Lauren and misses the Gucci interview. All this time he cried like any of us would, but he also stood up for himself and tried to handle things positively.

  • You can make a string of endless spreads about how things happen in your life, but you also take responsibility for your actions and do everything you can to get things back to normal.
  • And for all those who think she was selfish (which was partly true), she was also generous multiple times.
  1. He moved out of his apartment so Monica and Chandler could live together.
  2. She didn't reveal that she was pregnant just because she thought it would ruin Monica's wedding.
  3. He came back for Ross even if it meant leaving his dream job in Paris. "SHE GOT OFF THE PLANE" <3

Here are some other obvious facts Rachel is still admired for despite the fact that it has been almost 15 years since the show ended:

  • His sense of style was impeccable! Her amazing outfits and hairstyles attracted fashionistas and stylists to recreate those looks over and over again. It brings back the nostalgia of the 90s.
  • His endless chemistry with Ross. The whole drama "We were on a break", their short-lived marriage and finally Emma. His story was always gripping and unpredictable.
  • His friendship with Monica. I mean, who doesn't envy the connection they maintained? All the gossip, catfights, and memories they shared.
  • And the final and most obvious fact: Rachel Karen Greene was extremely beautiful. Period.
  • In short, Rachel Greene was smart, funny, pretty, sophisticated, a little too feminine, but she was also powerful and will always remain the most relevant character in FRIENDS.

We will always love you and remember you Rach!

And we all have to admit that no one could represent "Fat Monica" as well as her.

Lisa Kudrow's acting ability was exceptional. I don't think anyone can ever compete with Phoebe Buffay. The way she portrayed the character of a quirky and weird masseuse (or should I say Singer ?!) with a dark past is not something that can simply be copied. Regardless of how bad my day was, I still find Phoebe's undying faith and optimism commendable. Lisa got it completely right, although I find Phoebe constantly ridiculing Chandler's character a bit ...

Rachel Greene's character wasn't that difficult to play. So, you must give it to Jennifer Aniston for making it so memorable and adorable. Jen portrayed her character's transformation from the little girl of a spoiled rich dad to a strong, independent woman so perfectly that we could see the change in her throughout the seasons. We can't notice anything in particular about his character, so making that character unforgettable is a difficult task and that is precisely why he was so difficult to play.

Now, moving on to the male leads ...

David Shwimmer, he played the character of Ross Geller so well. He set the standards for an actor so high that replacing him is nearly impossible. We have seen different sides of Ross played by the same person. We saw Ross as the doting brother, the lovable boyfriend (or husband), the faithful friend, the whiny (but passionate) paleontologist, the obedient son, the loving father and the list goes on.

Joey Tribbiani's character wasn't difficult to play, but making it so damn memorable that the mere name makes us laugh is what I call TALENT. Matt Leblanc killed him as Joey. On the surface, we could only see his character as a foodie and womanizer. But as we delve into the story, we realize that Joey is more than that. Joey is much more than that. He had no past connections with any of the friends, but he earned his place in the hearts of the other five. Even if it's a simple line, when Joey says it, it's memorable.

Mathew Perry played a prominent role in impressing his character in viewers' minds with his timeless sarcasm. We know what sarcasm is thanks to Chandler Bing. He taught us what it is. But that was not all for his character. He knew very well the art of portraying emotions. We often tend to forget his harsh breakup with Kathy and his sweet and heartfelt proposal to Monica. Mathew Perry truly felt the pulse of his character.

Anyway, the bottom line is,

FRIENDS IS AN EMOTION. It can never be replaced or reproduced.

Rachel is a fashion executive at Ralph Lauren, who can make up to almost $ 200k / year, and based on her shopping habits, that's entirely possible. She was fired and got a job at Louis Vuitton in Paris, but got off the plane and stayed to be with Ross.

Phoebe is a massage therapist who can earn around $ 46k / year

Ross is a paleontologist, he starts working in a museum and then ends up as a university professor, which is quite lucrative at $ 157k / year.

Joey is an actor and without a regular job for most of the series, the base salary for an actor in New York is approximately $ 35,000 a year. But as a soap opera actor who has been around for a while, you can charge anywhere from $ 1,500 to $ 3,000 per episode. Let's say it's 200 episodes per year, which can range from $ 300k to $ 600k / year. I'm not counting anything on the Joey spinoff.

Joey, if you stick with the acting job (the soap opera job on the original Friends series), definitely him.

I suppose since several of the characters end the series together or married, you could defend their combined wealth ... Rachel and Ross are doing pretty well.

If you look only at the geek side of FRIENDS characters, then Ross is the smartest because often, he used to tell stories about dinosaurs and also correct others 'grammar mistakes like the difference between' who and who ',' you are and you '. , etc. He even dressed up as 'Spud-nik' for Monica's Halloween party, while everyone thought he was dressing like a fool. He was a university professor. Even their day-to-day activities like 'The Routine' dance, inventing their own way of showing the finger, counting 'Mississipily' while tanning, trying to prove things with a theorem, they find

Didn't read 'Lord of the Rings' during high school, her haircut during high school days, etc. showed his geek nature.

But I think Chandler Bing was the smartest. He was a very sensible and practical person. He could handle anyone's stupid comments with sarcastic, funny, and witty responses. He even worked for a large company and was well paid. He had a difficult childhood since his parents divorced. But still, he loved his friends and treated them like his family. He loved his wife Monica more than anything in this world. He helped Joey financially many times. He was the one who encouraged Rachel to take a job she loved. Ross was his best friend since college. And he had fun with Phoebe. On Thanksgiving when Will (Brad Pitt) arrived, Phoebe and Chandler together pretended they were enjoying the game so they wouldn't have to help Monica. Chandler was truly a people person.

Because, Phoebe never showed any kind of gesture, innuendo, or vibe that would make these three men, even for a second, consider courtship with her.

I always felt that Phoebe and Joey were more like two brothers. They shared stupid jokes. They mocked and encouraged the stupid things of others. So I feel like Joey always saw her in a non-sexual way and also because Joey is a man who believes in one night stands and with Phoebe such an arrangement would not have been the most appropriate of things.

Now let's go to Ross. In the first place, Phoebe was one of Rachel's closest friends, who

So I feel like Joey always saw her in a non-sexual way and also because Joey is a man who believes in one night stands and with Phoebe such an arrangement would not have been the most appropriate of things.

Now let's go to Ross. First of all, Phoebe was one of Rachel's closest friends, who throughout the show had an "on" and "off" relationship with Ross. So getting involved with Phoebe could mean a really awkward situation between the three of them. As we all know, they were all in Central Perk the entire time, so such involvement of Phoebe with Ross could have ruined that.

Now, let's talk about why Chandler never showed any interest in Phoebe. Throughout the show, Phoebe clearly made fun of Chandler more. Not even for a moment did he give Chandler a shred of hope that he could actually woo her. So in a way, Phoebe never showed any kind of chemistry with Chandler and that could be the reason why Chandler never developed any feelings for her.
