How good is the package we can expect from jobs through AMCAT?

How good is the package we can expect from jobs through AMCAT?

I had appeared for AMCAT in 2015 while I was in my senior year. And here is my scorecard:

I started receiving interview emails almost a week after my result. Since the day I received my first interview email in October 2015, I have been receiving emails about various job opportunities through AMCAT to date.

Packages range from as low as 1.5 lakh per year to as high as 7-8 lakh per year.

Personally, I never went for an interview through AMCAT because I didn't want to get a private job. But one of my seniors joined Accenture through AMCAT and is earning quite well :)

Guys, most of these answers are from 2017, right now I think everything is different. Or maybe I am destined to be unemployed and worthless.

My scores are:

625/900 - Logical, 505/900 - Quant, 655/900 - English, Option module: Computer - 355/900

I am from a tertiary university and I thought this was the best option for me as my college placement records were quite low.

But it's been 6 days since I took the test and nothing has happened.

I read everywhere that "LOGICAL: above 425 is an eXcElLeNt sCoRe conSiDeRed, HOW MUCH: above 425 is considered eXcElLeNt sCoRe, in English: above ..." and BLA BLA BLA "

Now maybe it's all down to the percentile. Let's see, my percentiles were 98% ile in logic, 96% ile in English, and 54% ile in quant. It may be that I was wrong in amount. EXPECT!! I read somewhere on Quora that “percentile doesn't matter in amcat. They select you based on your qualifications. If you get a good score, you will surely be selected in a company "

LOL, HAHAHA. SAY AH. Say ah.

Still, I don't think I have heard from anywhere because my computer grades were pretty low. Maybe. I just think this way so as not to delve into depression thinking that even though my score is pretty good, I didn't get any calls. I have applied for almost all jobs on the amcat portal, even the ones with minimal packages (like 1-2 lacs).

I'm desperate. I cried before giving amcat. Now I'm still crying after giving an amcat. I was so confident that I would get a job offer, and after reading the responses here, I was even more relieved. I'm sick of everything. I didn't study hard for amcat because I was depressed, but the scores I got made me feel like I can still do something. But here we are.

And already, I did not choose the optional programming module (automaton correction module) because I was not confident enough. (And now, we can select only one module if we want. It is not mandatory to select two optional modules as everyone said here).

AMCAT is an exam in which they test your skills and give you the results in which they mention the job profiles in which you can perform well.

I have done this test recently. I cannot say that it is very useful, because I do not receive any job offers from the multinational companies that I expected. Also my score is above 80 (average).

They take test in 6 sections

  1. Quants
  2. Verbal
  3. Logic reasoning.
  4. Personality control questions

These 4 are mandatory sections. In the personality verification section, there are 80 questions that I think I don't remember, you have to answer in 20 minutes. In this section they check

Subsequently, you must select 2 sections according to your field of interest or according to your educational qualification.

They then take a test through a phone call that is automatically recorded and the machine will ask you the questions to answer.

In this phone test:

They check your skills:

  1. English fluency
  2. Listening
  3. Speech
  4. Read (you have to read the sentences that will be sent to you by mail)

After these 2 exams, you will have to wait 3-4 days to receive the results. They provide results after evaluating each thing.

They mention their weak areas and strong areas. They also provide tips and advice on how you can improve your weak areas.

If you think this will help you to do it. It will not be wasted.

All the best!!!

Never answer with a word (assuming you study computer science and live at NCR, pass lot 2K17). go for eLitmus / cocubes

I have faced AMCAT three times in 2016, although my score was not that good (94%, 98% coding and others like fundamental and 60% English with a CGPA 7,934). How many interview call letters do I have? technically 1 to 3 (not counting those, no CS student would like to join).

The reasons why I do not recommend facing AMCAT are:

  1. It is not effective in the NCR region.
  2. 98% of companies posting a job aren't worth joining because they don't primarily do what IT does

  1. It is not effective in the NCR region.
  2. The 98% of companies that post a job aren't worth joining because they don't primarily do what IT companies are supposed to do. most jobs are as BDE, analyst, data processing, etc.
  3. more than 85% of published jobs require experience (assuming you don't have any), that is, it is not dedicated to newbies like cocubes, which is 100% for newbies.
  4. you plan to work at a company like Accenture, that is, you want to join one of the Fortune 200 companies, it will not help you because most (more than 98%) of them have their own exam and do not trust amcat (even if they do it, take it out separately instead of taking your score).
  5. You now have a very small set of companies that fit your requirements in this very small set, 80% will require you to travel out of state like (blore, hydra bad, Chennai etc) for an interview. 1% of students would travel to that state just for an interview.

That concludes my answer, I would be happy to answer any follow-up questions anyone may have. people may differ from my opinion, but it is my opinion based on my personal experience.

PS: I got my job at a Fortune 50-60 (CMMI level 5) company through AMCAT as a first round done separately by the company.

Vote for it if you find it in full use.

eLitmus Evaluation Private Limited is an Indian company that helps companies to hire employees for entry-level jobs and also helps job seekers.

For that, a candidate only has to register with eLitmus through their website. Then you have to do a pH test. For this you first have to request and take a date for that, paying an amount.

Coming now to the pH test.

In the pH test, they ask those things, that today all companies, whether private or government, have been asked before making an offer to a candidate.

In the pH test, they ask those things, that today all companies, whether private or government, have been asked before making an offer to a candidate.

So if you get a good score on the pH test, you have a chance to get hired at multinational companies.

In addition to the pH score, you also need good percentages and career grades. Because all the companies that hire through eLitmus have basic criteria of percentages and professional qualifications.

By the way, eLitmus will simply give you the opportunity to receive a notice from a company. But it only depends on you and the company, which is responsible for hiring you.

That is all.

All the best.

There is no possibility, clearly, no! Amcat is probably the worst way to go through the job search process, even job search portals like naukri are actually much better than that, because at least they respond to things once you profile, but for amcat it's just that they will try all the tricks you sign up for the newspaper, call you, send constant emails (with big company names as opportunities) and once you show up for the exam they will send you a report of your scores and after that no interview calls anything, generally it is just a waste, if you want to reschedule your amcat exam, they will ask you to pay an e

A good score on Amcat is a variability, as companies do not disclose the exact limit or percentile they are applying to. However, the general assumption is as follows to get more call possibilities from different sectors.

ENGLISH: A score of 90 above is a must. 95 above is good. Since maximum companies are looking for a decent level of English. A 90 above will give you a lot of offers from various fields. Getting 99 is also not a difficult task if you are from middle school English.

QUANT'S: The score of 70-80 is acceptable, 80 above is good.

REASONING: 70-80 fair, 80 above good.

GOOD LUCK!

I suggest you join KITABEE, it has a maximum number of students who pass the Amcat, Elitmus exam in terms of percentage. Very qualified teaching staff. THE RATES are also VERY LESS.

For any applicant, the following factors are of utmost importance when joining a coaching institute:

1. Personalized attention: I think the most important factor is this. If personal attention and mentoring is lacking, don't join. When you're evaluating institutes, check your classrooms for lot sizes. Request a demo session, if possible. Go take a demo class and you will see why I am suggesting KITABEE.

2. Faculty -

2. Faculty - In addition to point 1, look for faculties that have gone through the whole process, as they can better understand you and guide you better. Ask for the details of the faculty. See if you can talk to them. According to my "Neeraj sir" he is the best teacher just call him and ask him if you have any questions. 7838804491, 9718375475.9540897459.

3. Content / Material / Drills - At KITABEE, content is frequently updated to match recent trends. Like I said, it is not a differentiating factor. Drills used to be a differentiator, go and visit Kitabee's site.

Yes, many people get jobs through AMCAT and ELITMUS. In fact, they run campaigns for multinational companies that are massive recruiters. But it is highly recommended to obtain a high percentile (in AMCAT) to obtain a confirmed call and with average ratings, it all depends on luck if you receive a call. For ELITMUS you have to score in the highest range (90% ile and above) to receive calls from companies with high package and 80% ile in all modules for MNC'S. Both are reliable exams and I have a job in the stock market. through both.

Most Cognizant, Accenture, and Mindtree will recruit through any of the exams.

First AMCAT and elitmus

They are very good for newbies when it comes to placements.

But in the current situation to receive an interview call from major multinational companies

I would like to take elitmus only compared to AMCAT (my personal experience)

If you have> = 75 cgpa in BTech, you should clear elitmus / AMCAT with> 80% for sure, then you can only expect a call from good multinational companies. If your CGPA> = 65, you should get elitmus / AMCAT> = 85

I hope you have it now
