How do I get a mechanical engineering job abroad?

It's the same way you do it here. You must apply online as per the requirements. LinkedIn is a reliable source. There are many opportunities in Africa. You cannot get a job in Europe or the US unless you pass the MS. In the Middle East you need at least 5 years of experience.

Once you start looking for a job on LinkedIn, you will get more links. Many companies prefer to register on their site. You must go on and on applying. Even a presence on LinkedIn gives you invitations.

There are sites like Naukri head honchos wejobz, etc. which also show jobs abroad.

To get started, you need a work visa. It is usually sponsored by an employer. To reach the employer, search for jobs on the web and apply through the company site and job boards. Engineering communities like SAE and ASME have job boards like that. The remaining part would be your resume and you. You must have truthful information but impressive enough to deserve an interview. If they are convinced that you are the right person, they will sponsor you.

Keep in mind that this process can take several months or even a year.
