How difficult is it for international PhD students at Canadian universities to get a job there after graduation?

I would not say that it is difficult. It is more of a process and if you are willing to go into the process it may be easier for you. Canada is very strict according to international credentials; you may have a PhD, but before coming here you may want to ask if your PhD is accepted here and what equivalency you need. Few of my friends from Paris came here with a Master of International Business only to find that their Master's degrees were equivalent to a second-year degree in a Bachelor's program here in Canada.

In short, don't come here thinking it's some kind of paradise. Like any other country, Canada has its downsides, it is not paradise on earth.

It depends on what your PhD is on and how happy you were in Canada.
