How can I find a job quickly with a 3 month visit visa to Dubai?

If you are "a local boy", the government of the United Arab Emirates. He practically begs you to take a job in almost any position that is practical. I suggest you go to your local labor department and ask them the same question. …. after they've stopped laughing, the principal will examine your case and make you an offer…. or various offers. PLEASE keep us posted on your progress.

Honestly speaking, Dubai has a very tough job market right now. It took me about 5 months to find a job and I only found it here through my family. The same goes for my girlfriend, she looked for a job for almost 9 full months on every online platform she could find. The only way she found work was because my brother put her in touch with a friend.

If you want some important advice, I'll tell you one thing. DO NOT come to Dubai with a visit or tourist visa and start looking for work. It will take too long and spend all your money. Another tip would be never to fall for a CV distribution scam. There is a couple in this city. They will take your money and never call again.

It will take a long time to find a good job in Dubai. If you have the right skills and experience, you can find a good job. If you are not looking for low-paying jobs. When I started working here in Dubai, I had a starting salary of AED 3000. In the United States, my first job paid me about $ 3,000. Be patient. Keep applying online and you will find a job sooner or later. But while you're looking for a job, just keep working and developing skills to put up that resume. I see many people asking for help "please sir, I am looking for work in Dubai". This will never work, no one will hire you through informal social media platforms. Here are some links to check out.

In my opinion, if you want a job, you need to do your research and find the companies to apply to. Make sure you go directly to your professional platforms. I find that it works much better than using Linkedin.

Hope this helps some people.

There are three scenarios.

  1. You have work experience in the UAE
  2. You are cooler
  3. Your nationality

If you have work experience in the UAE, follow what other people say. that is, apply online and do this and that.

If you have fresher fair skin, you can do the same.

But if you are cooler and belong to India and Pakistan, remember what I am going to tell you now:

What Dubai is now is all because of India and Pakistan, but now you will see racism. If an Indian works and earns 3000 AED while a European earns 10,000 AED for the same work.

So what is all you need to do?

Apply on all job portals (must have UAE Mobile number on CV)

Apply in the morning from 8 to 10 and in the afternoon 1 to 2

But trust me, if you are not a lucky person, it will not help. Your CV will never be shortlisted

If you fail 100 times and keep trying, that's fine, but what do you never get a chance to try?

I make you understand, you can never make it to the interview table to represent yourself unless you have a reference from someone or are one in 100k. (Which is quite rare)

So after 1-2 months go by, you will start to give up and lose a lot of money. You will be stressed out and begin to lose confidence. And in the end, your visa will expire.

Hopefully you've heard: to get a job you need experience and to gain experience you need a job.

So all you need is work to gain experience in the UAE.

If you are inexperienced in the UAE then it is GARBAGE for them.

And without facing interviews, how do you get a job?

So the question is how to get to the interview desk.

Only 2 types of people can get you there.

  1. Your known person, i.e. relatives or friends
  2. HR of the recruitment consultancy

If you don't have the first, you must follow the second step. There are more than 100 consultants that can help you. But if you visit their offices, the receptionist will tell you to submit your cv or apply online. Do you think they will give your CV to HR? And even they give so, do you think HR will choose you more than 1000 CV? The answer is no.

I tell you my story here.

I have a total of 3 years and 7 months of total experience. I am currently on Visa Visit. There is not a single place that I have not applied, not even for the jobs that I am not qualified for at all. But I didn't get any rollback. I visited many companies and consultancies and ended up sending a resume.

Last Wednesday I visited for an interview on foot and there were about 200 people. They shortlisted the CV and sent more than 150 people to their home. I even had an argument that the requirement is not mentioned in the job description and HR said that we will accept your comments.

I was feeling fucked up and feeling trash in here

I have no one in this country who can help me get to an interview table or refer me. Nobody. (I have more than 10 relatives who are working here for the last 15-20 years and believe me if they say come and I won't even have to give an interview for the job, but no one wants to help me because I have no father. of the cases (Indians can understand).

So I decided to do it or die.

I found an HR consultant on LinkedIn and saved her photo to my phone. The next day I visited that consultant and asked the receptionist to call that person. She called him but said she didn't invite anyone to the office. Then the receptionist asked me to leave. I waited there for 6 hours and nothing happened. It was fine for me because I was using the internet while waiting. At exactly 5:17 pm HR was leaving the office and I recognized her and chased her. I finally greeted her in the elevator and we started the conversation and told her everything I have faced so far. She was very nice from Sri Lanka Nationality HR. We shared cigarettes and chatted for about an hour outside the building. She asked for my CV and put it in her bag and left.

Exactly after 2 hours around 9:30 he called me and invited me to an interview for Retail on Sunday.

So tomorrow will be my interview. They most likely won't select me because I never worked in a retail store so I have no idea about anything, but at least this will be the first interview after a lot of struggle.

I don't want to pursue a career in retail, but all I need now is to start in Dubai and get a 2-year employment visa. Then I will have enough time to find the job that suits me best.

So brother, do whatever it takes. Everything you need to comply with HR. They are not bad in person

I'm sure no one will help me in Dubai, as we don't find Humanity here. Almost everyone is selfish who lives in Dubai.

So never put yourself in the comfort zone. If you really want something, take it. No matter what it costs.

In my case, my goal is much bigger than getting a job. If I want something, I will do all things possible or impossible to get it, regardless of whether it is love or just a job.

Lucky best friend

I would suggest that the challenge is less to find a job, but more to become legal.

The visa process, while relatively simple, can be quite tortuous, waiting for progress while listening to 'Inshallah', hours spent waiting for appointments / processing / nothing.

Therefore, I am afraid that arriving, finding a job, processing and changing visas in a time frame that fits is unlikely, and has nothing to do with your talent, availability, winning personality or otherwise.

I changed my residency visa status from a DFC company to a DMCC company and it took me over a month, and it was supposed to be a relatively simple case. Shawl

I changed my residency visa status from a DFC company to a DMCC company and it took me over a month, and it was supposed to be a relatively simple case. The challenge in your case is that you are changing from visa to resident / work, so it is likely (I am not an expert, by the way, seek the proper legal advice) that you will have to leave the country to re-enter, which is You may not be able to do while your passport is being delivered for processing.

So while it may not be difficult to find a job, especially in the travel industry with an agency focused on other travelers like you, it may be more difficult to get your visa in the right time frame.

So there is no way to convert a tourist visa to a work visa.

I hope this helps.

If you can arrange liquid funds up to AED 2000 per month, you can try for 3 months. What's the harm in trying?

Since the last 4 years, I haven't seen big companies hire random newbies.

Develop your contacts in the UAE with friends / family. If not, first develop the linkedin network. All job openings go to referrals first.

So it depends on the Sector you want to work in. Real Estate has stopped hiring due to Covid and 2021 is a difficult year. If the EXPO receives a great response, maybe some jobs will open for 6 to 8 months. It depends.

The UAE visa fee for one month is as follows,

Short term visa (single entry) - 30 days from arrival date is 330 AED * / -

AND

short term (multiple entry) -30 days from first entry cost AED 650 * / -

* Please note that all visas are not extendable and an additional service charge will apply if requested through a travel agent. You can check the Emirates website for more details.

May you have a pleasant and safe stay in Dubai.

Looking for a job in Dubai is indeed what many people dream of, but you need to channel your search and start by reaching out to your friends or the community in the UAE to let them know that you want a job. Then start your search online, and if you have enough positive signs, come here and be on the ground to seize the opportunity.
