How can I find a job in Bangalore like new?

Very, very difficult to find such a cool job in IT.

Most of Naukri's jobs are BPO / KPO, etc. or a consultancy that asks you to pay a lot.

First ask yourself, why weren't you selected on Campus? First start by identifying what was missing from your degree / skills / qualifications that didn't work.

Now, just check the IT jobs reality for the most up-to-date information. There is barely 1 job for 5 applicants. So achieving success is 20% if we exclude other factors and limit ourselves to ourselves.

Mathematics is one of my favorite subjects. Finding work is a mathematical problem. It all comes down to the chances of getting a job given a certain condition. I know that most of you do not know or have forgotten Bayes' theorem.

Now p (work) = 20%

Now, how to make it above 60% or 70%. The more the condition increases, which will increase your chances, the more likely it is that you will land a job with relative ease.

Open the Naukri portal and search. I did and I have something to share.

Only 68 were applied and I am very sure that only 10-15 will really know about these technologies.

Have you heard of web CMS like wordpress, Drupal, Joomla, etc. They also need knowledge of HTML and CSS.

So p (work / wordpress + HTML + CSS + Responsive +… more) = 70%.

How did I get that probability? Well I'm good with numbers and prediction as I work in predictive modeling and have quite a bit of IT experience. You are free to disagree.

Similarly, if applied fast. Then see:

So be quick and proactive. Time changes if you keep changing your skills and you will see success.

If you are not only a newbie, but also a newbie with a pretty good experience, then the company can adapt to the shortage of experienced candidates.

So in short, there is nothing like fortune or luck. Just learn more and technologies that most beginners don't learn.

Some good ones are:

  1. Responsive web design
  2. Reactjs / Angularjs
  3. NodeJs
  4. Django / Flask
  5. Azure.
  6. MSBI.
  7. PowerBI
  8. Picture.
  9. R and statistics
  10. .NET MVC
  11. Xamarin
  12. Spring / Hibernation
  13. Python / Machine Learning
  14. SQL server.
  15. NoSql (Cassandra, MongoDB)

Don't pick one. This is pure math. Pick one that you like best some other random abilities from above.

Keep increasing your skills / knowledge every day. Make it count. It doesn't matter if you are in Bangalore or Pune or Delhi.

The above will apply. Rest is your life and how you make the most of it.

Now that you know the things you like, secondly remove the things you have little knowledge about, this will shorten your CV obviously, but don't worry, the recruiter doesn't look for the amount on a more up-to-date resume, but would test what you've learned as a graduate. Now that you have created a CV that truly reflects who you are.

Seat belt! like now you would need to google a company that has jobs that suit your interests like if you have a good knowledge in accounting try KPMG, JPMC etc once you are done researching create your profile on the whole PORTAL WORKING like naukri, linkedin, in fact. , shine, etc., update your CV and details, and voila, you will start receiving calls from consultants and companies. Good luck.

PS: this is my first answer, thanks for reading.

Edit: Thanks for over 2K views, keep voting to motivate me to keep writing.

Considering that you are a cooler BTECH and you are looking for a job in the information technology sector. You should try to give elitmus as there are many companies there and they will make your job search easier. Join some groups on facebook related to these so you can stay updated.

Also try to give amcat as some companies like CTS and all hire amcat.

Also ask your seniors for their recommendation, as some companies like INFOSYS have referral units for fresher hires.

Try Jobs - Recruitment - Job Search - Employment - Job Openings - Naukri.com too, but it would be hard to get calls like a new one.

Freshersworld is also a good site that can make you some calls, but I think the best among all the available options is ELITMUS. Please give it a try if you can get a good score, you will surely get calls.

There were no on-campus placements at my university and about 50 percent of students got their first job through Elitmus and this number is increasing every year.

So here are more opportunities compared to other cities in India. According to a survey from India, more than 1.5 million engineers faint each year. So there are a lot of competitions to get a job. I mentioned some points that will help you get a job easily.

Here are some points:

A) Skills: As I mentioned earlier, there are many completions in this field. So the only way to get a job is to have more skills.

The more skills you have, the easier you can get a job. So my suggestion is to try to learn more skills. It will also improve your profile.

B) Build a network: the most important thing is to build a network. If you have skills but don't have information about the vacancies, then it is a waste. So try to make as many networks as you can. Try connecting with people on LinkedIn, join face groups.

This will help you get information about job openings. It will also help in reference work. If you are more connected, chances are high that you will land a reference job that has less competition compared to off campus.

C) Communication: It is a very important role to get a job. If you have more knowledge but cannot develop your knowledge to others, then there is no use of that knowledge. This is the area where many people don't get their dream job. So make sure you are working on your communication.

D) Others: You can sign up for a trusted consultancy. If you can, you can easily get a job. But the most important task is to find the trustworthy consultancy,

which is much less in Bangalore. In Bangalore, 95% of consultancies are fake, so be careful with them.

Last but not least, don't give anyone money for jobs. It does not matter if they are people from the company or consultants. If you have the desired skills, you will definitely get a good job.

All the best. If you like my answer, don't forget to vote in favor of this answer. Please comment below if you have any queries regarding my answer.

Thank you for giving me your valuable time. God bless you.

Sincerely,

G. Ridhi

Be patient and determined to get a good job!

All the best :) :)

First, be very patient….

Things are really tough here in Bengaluru as there are thousands of other competitors.

It took me 9 months specifically in Bengaluru to get a job.

For me it is like attending interview after interview and I met so many other faces just by seeing them in many interviews. So that's how I meet a lot of people

  1. Then you should start talking to them. Learn about other opportunities and make good contacts.
  2. Don't just apply online (you will hardly get calls), but try to go to the companies and ask them if there are any openings or get the RR phone number.

Apart from everything you need to be strong in technique and also in communication (for cooler).

Some consultancies are genuine but most of them aren't that helpful, but your interview partners can be.

There are some Facebook pages like BJS and MRA and some others are very useful.

I even approached a lot of unfamiliar employees (whenever I found them near streets, bus stops, subways or even in tech parks) and talked to them about any vacancies and asked them to refer me at least (they are good and really recommended me) .

Be prepared and then try looking for opportunities.

Don't give up, one day it will be yours.
